在迎接周末到来之前，北京市私立树人瑞贝学校国际班的师生欢迎家长们到校参加家长会。今天下午一如往常，是家庭们参与学校教育、了解学生的进步与成绩的良机，家长们能够清晰认识到学生在学术和品格成长中的目标。

Students and teachers in the International Program ended the week by welcoming parents for a parent-teacher meeting. As always, this has been a wonderful opportunity for the families to join us and learn about the progress, accomplishments and goals in academic and character growth for the students in our program.

老师们强调了在学术之外，我校非常重视两个关键能力的外显性教学——团队意识与合作能力。这些能力经常被看作是21世纪必备的最重要的软实力，但在传统的课堂当中很少能够得到锻炼。有效的合作需要耐心、同理心、沟通、尊重、忍让和良好的体育精神。我们可以通过有趣的游戏和活动来培养学生的此类能力。

Teachers have emphasized how alongside academics, we put a lot of focus on the explicit teaching of two very important skills, teamwork and cooperation. These skills are often mentioned at the top of the soft skills needed in the 21st century, but seldom practiced in the traditional classroom. Effective teamwork requires patience, empathy, communication, respect, tolerance, and good sportsmanship. A great way to get students to learn these skills is to teach them through fun games and activities.

在本次家长会中，家长和孩子们通过了解戴尔·奇胡利的艺术风格来学习合作的重要性。戴尔·奇胡利是一名著名的美国艺术家，以其高超的玻璃吹制三维雕塑技艺而闻名遐迩。他的艺术作品遍布全球，在美国、日本、英国等地的博物馆和艺术馆中展览。同学们了解到，即便他遭遇不幸失去了一只眼睛，他仍然和他的玻璃吹制团队一同创造了令人惊艳的艺术作品。戴尔·奇胡利被他的团队成员称为“Maestro”，意大利语中的“老师”以彰显他高超的领导能力。
