Logistics management involves the systematic coordination and integration among various operational processes in an organization, including air transportation, container ship, and rail. No matter the size of a company or its industry, logistics managers are integral to daily operations.

When you complete your logistics management bachelor’s degree at Florida Tech, you are prepared to manage every aspect of a company’s flow of goods, resources, and information to meet the needs of customers, suppliers, and stakeholders. Logistics managers are needed in a number of applications including private and government business, military, humanitarian assistance, and disaster relief.

Because this is a degree completion program, students must have earned a minimum of 61 hours of transferrable credits from a regionally accredited college to enroll.

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Occupational Outlook Handbook, a 26% increase in logistician jobs is expected through 2020, making logistics management an attractive degree option for students.
