专业概况

BA History at Roehampton gives you the chance to study over 3,000 years of our past. Taught by our team of world-class historians, the programme covers a huge period, from the rise and fall of the Greek and Roman Empires to the collapse of Communism and the events that laid the path to Brexit. Geographically, the programme is expansive, taking in the Americas, the British World, Europe, Africa and Asia. Our History degree is designed to be flexible and allow you to study the topics that appeal to you most, while giving you real-world experience and work placement opportunities. We also believe in choice: allowing you to choose pathways of study which inspire you is central to our whole philosophy.

The extended degree programmes include a foundation year, which will provide you with a sound introduction to key elements needed for studying History at degree level. Our extended degree programme will provide you with a thorough and supportive academic preparation for study. The foundation year is carefully designed to build confidence in your abilities, develop essential academic and study skills, and provide you with the subject specific knowledge essential for success.

Career options

You will graduate from our BA in History with the skills to be able to succeed in a wide range of careers, including publishing, broadcasting, law, the charity sector, accountancy and teaching.
