Summary

This MRes is a tailored programme of study enabling you to work closely with supervisors in your area of interest. The programme has been designed to allow you to specialise in either Psychology, Physiology or Biomechanics.

Sport and Exercise Science has its roots in biomechanics, psychology, physiology, and metabolism and its interaction with exercise and nutrition. The field of sport and exercise science has developed a great deal over the past century and contributes greatly to our understanding of societal issues including health and disease as well as elite sporting performance.

The Sports and Exercise Science masters in research (MRes) at the University of Roehampton provides you with essential tools to make the transition from postgraduate study to further study (PhD) or employment.

Careers

This course will provide you with the tools to prepare for PhD positions, or professional employment such as exercise physiologists, biomechanics, performance consultants, researchers, health care professionals, and data analysts.
