The Quinlan School of Business' BBA in Sport Management degree program combines comprehensive business skills with an in-depth understanding of the sport industry. Especially beneficial is the program's location at Loyola's Water Tower Campus on the Magnificent Mile in the heart of Chicago, a major sport and athletic market. Students obtain important connections to jobs, internships, and service opportunities to supplement their classroom discussion about how local teams put principles into practice.

The sport management program focuses on the essentials in sport finance, law, and marketing, as well as on the economics of this dynamic industry. Coursework also covers sport facility management. The program emphasizes the importance of developing strong written and oral communication skills. Students study business ethics to enhance future decision making.

Goal

The goal of the Bachelor of Business Administration in Sport Management program is to prepare sport business professionals for a career within the sport industry.
