专业概况

在这里学什么？ Economics and Management at Kent combines the study of these two core elements of business, while also allowing you the flexibility to tailor the programme to your own interests.The study of Economics gives you the opportunity to analyse some of today's profound problems, such as poverty and economic growth, developing economies, environmental protection, and financial and monetary crises. You also consider the dilemmas facing households, firms and governments, such as the provision of education, roles of labour markets and regulation of markets.Studying Management develops your leadership skills in relation to decision making, problem solving, team working, negotiation and performance management. You also gain the skills and knowledge essential for managing key areas of organisations, including accounting, human resources, quantitative methods, marketing, strategy and operations.You have the opportunity to spend a year working in industry between Stages 2 and 3. This greatly enhances your CV and gives you the opportunity to apply your academic skills in a practical context. During your studies, you benefit from a research-led approach to teaching that provides a first-class academic experience, as well as building your personal skills and enhancing your career prospects.
