在这里学什么？ Studying Entrepreneurship and Innovation, you learn the key concepts that help uncover the complex nature of organisations and the business environment. You explore the significance of entrepreneurship and innovation to both business and the world. Most exciting of all, you get the opportunity to start and launch your own innovative venture.You study a range of compulsory modules and in your final year select an optional module in an area that interests you, including Business Law and Supply Chain Management. Throughout the programme, you have the opportunity to start and run your innovative venture. You learn from established and successful entrepreneurs and apply this to your venture. You will develop innovative solutions in response to genuine problems in the first year, evaluate and select venture-worthy opportunities based on these problems in the second year, and pivot or scale-up in the third year.You have excellent opportunities to experience entrepreneurship and innovation in action through hands-on experience from starting and launching your venture, in-class live case studies, our visiting industry experts, enterprise challenges and even the opportunity to shadow an entrepreneur. You also have an opportunity to gain entrepreneurial skills that will enable you to accelerate your innovative thinking into practice.Going abroad as part of your degree is an amazing experience and a chance to develop personally, academically, and professionally. You experience a different culture, gain a new academic perspective, establish international contacts and enhance your employability. Our wide array of exchange partners give you the opportunity to gain international experience. Our partners are committed to enhancing their international outlook while providing excellent teaching. You will gain invaluable work experience, develop your understanding of a new culture and improve your language skills.**Course Details** **Stage 1**Your first year is a compulsory introductory year, designed to provide you with a solid foundation to understand entrepreneurship and innovation where you identify problems that you are passionate about and which present attractive venture-creation opportunities. You will study topics such modern business and employability, marketing principles, principles of new venture creation and innovation management. **Stage 2**Your second year is a compulsory, more-specialised year, allowing you to evaluate the business opportunities developed in Year 1 and launch a venture. You will study topics such as project management, entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity, social enterprise and sustainability and launching a start-up. **Year abroad**On your year abroad you will study at one of our partner universities in Europe or Asia. Places are subject to availability, language and degree programme. You are expected to adhere to any academic progression requirements in Stages 1 and 2 to proceed to the year abroad. If the requirement is not met, you are transferred to the equivalent three-year programme. The year abroad is assessed on a pass/fail basis and does not count towards your final degree classification.**Stage 3**Your final year allows you to commercialise or re-work your venture based on feedback you receive from resource holders, including customers and investors. You will develop your specialist knowledge with a range of modules covering topics such as consultancy and practice, strategic entrepreneurship and innovation, business law and employability rights, and sustainable commercialisation.
