The Master of Philosophy (Veterinary Science) is an internationally recognised masters (by research) degree. It is designed to help develop advanced skills in carrying out independent and sustained research in veterinary science.

RESEARCH BY THESIS

Your thesis should demonstrate a critical application of specialist knowledge. And you'll make an independent contribution to existing scholarship in the area of research.

SPECIALISE IN A KEY RESEARCH AREA

Unearth groundbreaking study in areas including: veterinary biosciences; animal sciences - health and welfare; and infectious diseases - public health and biosecurity.

DEVELOP ADVANCED SKILLS IN INDEPENDENT AND SUSTAINED RESEARCH

The thesis should demonstrate a critical application of specialist knowledge and make an independent and original contribution to existing scholarship in your chosen area of research.

English language requirements for Coursework degree: IELTS (academic English Only) - 6.5 overall, with written 6.5 and no band less than 6.0; TOEFL (paper-based test) - 577 + TWE 4.5; TOEFL (internet-based test) - 79 + (Writing 21; Speaking 18; Reading 13; Listening 13); Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 58 + no other communicative skill below 50; Cambridge English: Advanced/ Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) - 176 + no less than 185 in Writing and 169 in each other skill. English language requirements for Master of Philosophy: IELTS (academic English Only) - 7.0 overall, with written 7 and no band less than 6.0; TOEFL (paper-based test) - 600 + TWE 5.0; TOEFL (internet-based test) - 94 + (Writing 27; Speaking 18; Reading 13; Listening 13); Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 65 + written communicative skill of 65 and no other communicative skill below 50; Cambridge English: Advanced/ Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) - 185 + no less than 185 in Writing and 169 in each other skill.
