The Master of Sports Medicine is a course designed for qualified practitioners with a passion for excellence in sports and exercise medicine working with athletes of all ages and abilities.

Linking theory and practice, this course explores sport and exercise medicine in diverse contexts including:

• Athlete physiology, biomechanics & performance
• Sports injury prevention, diagnosis & management
• Athlete case management.

As a student of this course you’ll have access to a network of internationally recognised experts in sports medicine and clinicians working with elite sports teams and institutions. You’ll also have the opportunity to appraise authentic expert consultations of real clinical cases.

This course is offered part-time and full-time, offering you the flexibility to plan your study around other commitments.

A Master in Sports Medicine allows graduates to enhance their professional practice capability in community and professional sporting organisations. A masters-level qualification is integral to extending your career in sports medicine and is often required for the award of professional specialist titling.

English language requirements for Coursework degree: IELTS (academic English Only) - 6.5 overall, with written 6.5 and no band less than 6.0; TOEFL (paper-based test) - 577 + TWE 4.5; TOEFL (internet-based test) - 79 + (Writing 21; Speaking 18; Reading 13; Listening 13); Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 58 + no other communicative skill below 50; Cambridge English: Advanced/ Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) - 176 + no less than 185 in Writing and 169 in each other skill. English language requirements for Master of Philosophy: IELTS (academic English Only) - 7.0 overall, with written 7 and no band less than 6.0; TOEFL (paper-based test) - 600 + TWE 5.0; TOEFL (internet-based test) - 94 + (Writing 27; Speaking 18; Reading 13; Listening 13); Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 65 + written communicative skill of 65 and no other communicative skill below 50; Cambridge English: Advanced/ Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) - 185 + no less than 185 in Writing and 169 in each other skill.
