大家好，我是上海枫叶国际学校范欣妤。今天，我想和大家分享我的暑期故事，主要是我的暑期阅读：《老人与海》书评。

泡一杯清茶，读一本好书，看一次人生百态，品一次酸甜苦辣，读书似读人，长知识，磨性情，长经验，明是非，在暑假期间，去静静感悟一本书，方知人在路途不孤独。

而这个暑假我选择的是《老人与海》的英语原著版本。

《老人与海》是美国作家海明威于1951年在古巴写的一篇中篇小说，主要讲述了一位年迈的渔夫与一条巨大的马林鱼在离岸很远的湾流中搏斗的故事。

那位风烛残年的老渔夫一连八十四天都没有钓到一条鱼，即使在所有人都不看好他的情况下，他仍不肯认输，充满着奋斗的精神，终于在第八十五天钓到一条身长十八尺，体重一千五百磅的大马林鱼。当大鱼拖着船往远海里走时，老人死拉着不放，没有水，没有食物，没有武器，独自一人，左手抽筋，他也丝毫不愿意放弃。在经过两天两夜之后，他终于杀死大鱼，把它拴在船边。但吸引了许多鲨鱼立刻前来抢夺他的战利品。他一一地杀死它们，直至最后只剩下一支折断的舵柄作为武器。但是，大鱼仍难逃被鲨鱼吃光的命运，最终，老人筋疲力尽地也只拖回了一副鱼骨头回到岸边。

虽然老人最终还是没有带回丰厚的战利品，老人坚强的意志，顽强拼搏、永不言败的精神却深入人心，我认为他虽败犹荣。在海明威众多的文学作品中，对话的简洁、明快、有力，修辞的干净简单，韵味的自然，形成了他独特的创作风格。在整本《老人与海》中的语言依旧平淡简单、朴实无华，没有矫揉造作，亦没有浮夸成词，却把人物的内心活动描绘得生动又形象，给我留下了深刻的印象。

同时，书中也有很多的警句值得一提。

“一个人可以被毁灭，但不能被打败”、“不过话得说回来，没有一桩事是容易的”、“现在不是去想缺少什么的时候，该想一想凭现有的东西你能做什么”，这些短语虽通俗易懂，但同样富有力量。没有人会知道自己的未来会是什么样的，但是，只有不放弃希望，不放弃梦想，不断地努力坚持，才会有成功的可能。

在《老人与海》中，老渔夫虽然最后没有将鱼成功的带回家，但是，老人面对无尽的大海，面对凶残的鲨鱼，面对死亡的诱惑，都没有放弃生存的渴望，他在另外一个层面获得了虽败犹荣的成功。

或许与海明威的自身经历有关，《老人与海》这本书更贴合当时的底层阶级的劳动人民，他们的辛苦劳作，最终可能什么都不会得到，但是，他们仍旧那样坚持着，勇于和命运抗争，不轻易放弃任何希望。

品着茶，读着书，天下事皆知;品妙语，赏佳句，快乐亦无穷;多读书，通古今，知识都入胸。

"The old man andthe sea” is a novella written by American writer Hemingway in Cuba in 1951,mainly tells the story of an old fisherman and a huge Marlin fight in the GulfStream far offshore in the story.

The ailing oldfisherman for eighty-four days without a fish, even if all the people are notoptimistic about his situation, he still refused to admit defeat, full offighting spirit, and finally in eighty-fifth days and caught a eighteen feet inlength, Malaysia forest fish weighing one thousand and five hundred pounds.When the fish dragged the boat go away the sea travel time, the death of theold man pulled tightly, no water, no food, no weapons, alone, left hand cramps,he did not want to give up. Although the old maneventually did not bring rich booty, the strong will, perseverance, indomitablespirit is embedded in the hearts of the people, I think his glorious defeat. Inmany of Hemingway's literary works, the dialogue is concise, crisp, clean andstrong, rhetoric is simple, natural flavor, has formed his unique creation inthe whole style. "The old man and the sea are still in plain and simplelanguage, chastity, no affectation, no exaggeration into words, but thecharacters' inner activities depicted vivid image, left me a deep impression.

At the same time, thebook also has numerous aphorisms worth mentioning.

"A man can bedestroyed but not defeated," but having said that, one thing is not easy"," now is not what to think about the lack of time, the think ofthings what you can do ", although these phrases are easy to understand,but also full of power. No one will know what the future holds, however, justdo not give up any hope, do not give up the dream, continue to adhere to, willhave the possibility of success.

In "the old manand the sea”, the old fisherman though nothing will go home with a fish successbut the elderly face endless sea, facing the fierce shark, facing the death oftemptation, did not give up the desire for survival, he won the glorious defeatsuccess in another level.

May be associated withHemingway's own experience, working people at the bottom class "the oldman and the sea” this book more fit, their hard work, may ultimately what willget, but they still insist that, the courage to struggle and destiny, do notgive up any hope.
