上周,南京金地未来学校小学部成功开展了以“生命教育”为主题的项目制学习。Visit Our Classes|风靡全球的项目制学习,如何与“生命教育”结合?本周,小学部继续将PBL与常规课堂融合,激励学生去探索问题、调查研究。在寻找答案的过程中吸收书本知识,并将其运用于实践,在实践中将多学科知识融会贯通,激发孩子从多角度思考的创造性思维。

Last week, the Primary School of RGSG Nanjing successfully launched a PBL class with the theme of "Life Education". This week, the elementary school continued to carry out PBL courses with various themes to encourage students to explore questions, investigate and research, absorb book knowledge in the process of finding answers, and apply it to practice, and integrate multi-disciplinary knowledge in practice. , Inspire children to think creatively from multiple angles.

学习的主体从来都是学生。我们将PBL教学法融入到语文、英语这样的常规课堂中,回归学习的本质,结合“发现问题-解决问题”的项目制思维,把主场交还给学生,在课堂上激发无限的可能性。

三年级的学生们在Gary老师的带领下,以“建造心目中的家”为主题开启了英语课堂。前期,老师鼓励孩子们“发现问题”,以调研分析的方式去了解:

一系列复杂的问题,也代表着一个个需要跨越的难关。孩子们罗列问题,并从问题中提炼出可量化的、具备操作性的实践步骤。孩子们和家长一起沟通,从房间布置、颜色搭配等一步步构建起“梦想中的家”,让小房子从平面化的旧纸板立体起来。

A series of complex issues also represent difficulties that need to be overcome one by one. The children list the problems and extract quantifiable and practical steps from the problems. The children communicate with their parents and build a "dream home" step by step from room layout and color matching, so that the small house can be three-dimensional from the flat old cardboard.

课堂从不拘泥于教室,在南京金地未来学校,处处都可以是学习之所。孩子们排排坐在操场旁的休闲阅读区内,兴奋地用英语展示自己的创意成果。

Classrooms are never confined to classrooms. In RGSG Nanjing, everywhere can be a place of study. On Monday, the children led by the foreign teacher Gary, sat in a row in the leisure reading area by the playground, excitedly showing their creative achievements.

色彩纷呈、风格迥异的小房子们在阳光的笼罩下,呈现出一种独特的自然与家的和谐,相较封闭的教室,户外广阔的环境更能激发孩子们的表达欲望,Gary老师以提问的方式,引导孩子们从“Why、Where、What、Who、When、How”等多个角度,用英文去阐释“家”的设计理念、建造过程,在此过程中,孩子们既完成了英语课堂的知识获取,也从美术、科学等学科角度加深了对“家”的理解。

The small houses with various colors and different styles present a unique harmony between nature and home under the sun. Compared with closed classrooms, the spacious outdoor environment can stimulate children’s desire to express themselves. Teacher Gary use the way of asking questions to guide children to explain the design concept and construction process of "home" in English from multiple angles such as "Why, Where, What, Who, When, How". In the process, the children expand their English vocabulary,also deepens the understanding of "home" from the perspective of art, science and other disciplines.

另一边,PBL与语文课的融合正在继续。临近清明节,为了让学生从多方面感受中国传统节日的内涵与精神,这场以“中国传统节日”为主题的语文课从四个节日(春节、中秋、端午、清明)入手,学生们在前期调研的基础上,穿上符合节日特质的传统服饰,分成四组介绍各自的节日,在古典的氛围中将风俗、食物、名人事迹通过演绎娓娓道来。

In the Chinese class on Tuesday, the new PBL is continuing. Near the Ching Ming Festival, in order to allow students to experience the connotation and spirit of traditional Chinese festivals in many ways, this project-based course with the theme of "Traditional Chinese Festivals" starts with four festivals. On the basis of the preliminary research, students put on traditional costumes that meet the characteristics of the festival, divide them into four groups to introduce the respective festivals, and interpret the customs, food, and celebrity deeds in a classical atmosphere.

课堂临近尾声时,孩子们也一起品尝了清明节特色食物“青团”,在欢笑中感受分享的乐趣,演讲的展现形式也增强了学生的自信和表达能力,将传统文化的魅力逐步浸润孩子的心灵,让文化自信根植孩子的内心。

At the end of the class, the children also tasted the Qingming Festival's special food "Ying Tuan", and felt the joy of sharing in laughter. In the interactive display, the presentation form of the speech also enhances the students' self-confidence and expressive ability, gradually infiltrates the children's hearts with the charm of traditional culture, and makes cultural self-confidence take root in the children's hearts.
