专业概况

在这里学什么？

Sport Management majors study the business of sport – the economic impact of teams and venues, sport consumer behavior, relationship marketing, fundraising, and operations. They experience hands-on learning with dynamic internships, cross-campus student-run organizations, and collaborative class projects. Many of these students will begin careers at corporate entities, while others will pursue post-graduate studies in business or law.

The Sport Management (SM) program prepares students for careers in the global sport industry. Our curriculum explores the cultural and business impact of sport -- through hands-on, real-world case studies and consulting projects led by our world-renowned faculty.

Our students are actively engaged with our faculty, academic advisors, and alumni mentors. This leads to dynamic internships, as well as other outstanding professional development activities.

Upon graduation many of our students will begin careers at sport organizations and corporate businesses, while others will pursue post-graduate studies in business, law, accounting, and urban planning.

Our graduates work in the front offices of the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, and MLS; with professional sports teams like the Detroit Red Wings, New York Mets, and Milwaukee Bucks; within agencies like IMG, Creative Artists Agency, and William Morris Endeavor; and with industry-leading organizations like ESPN, the NCAA, The New York Times, Under Armour, and many more.

为来自中国的学生设计 Other English Language Requirements: MELAB (plus speaking): 85 range with section scores 80+ and 3+ in speaking; TOEFL (PBT): 600 range with section scores 57+; ECPE: Certificate with all sections at least a C; CAE or CPE: 185 with no less than 180+ in all sections (CEFR C1);PTE Academic: 68 with all sections equally strong.
