在这里学什么？ The International Foundation Year (IFY) is designed for students whose first language is not English. The IFY will prepare you for both your English language level for entry and also for content knowledge you will need to begin the BA/BSc course. Once you have successfully completed the IFY, you are guaranteed a place onto the first year of your chosen undergraduate degree course at the University.Take a step towards a career that really makes a difference to people in a society where crime is a part of everyday life. You could work at the cutting edge of crime in a job where every day is different.Forensic investigators are key players in investigating and solving crime and they often provide the evidence that ensures offenders are brought to justice. During the course you will have the opportunity to gain extensive knowledge of forensic theories, practices, procedures, cases and the criminal justice system. You will also develop practical skills using a range of mock crime scenes, laboratories, policing and court facilities, supported by experienced staff who are ex-forensic practitioners.The foundation year is designed to cement your confidence in the foundations of key forensic and scientific principles as well as study skills. These will be needed to help you progress through the rest of your degree studies.
