专业概况

在这里学什么？ Are you interested in how to make cars better, faster, safer, cleaner and more sustainable? The automotive industry, which includes successful manufacturers like Nissan, Honda and Jaguar Land Rover, needs engineers who can work on design, production, and research and development.The core of the course is the same as our BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering. You’ll also study specialist modules covering vehicle design and aerodynamics, powertrain and chassis systems, manufacturing systems, and automotive control systems and mechatronics.This BEng (Hons) course will meet part of the academic requirement to be a Chartered Engineer, which is associated with higher salaries. You can meet the requirement in full by studying for an additional year and gaining an MEng (Hons). If you know from the start that you’d prefer an MEng, please apply for MEng (Hons) Mechanical and Automotive Engineering instead of this course. The course is inspired by a sustainable engineering agenda that will ensure you’ll be equipped to work ethically in a world that needs engineers to meet societal challenges.

为来自中国的学生设计 Senior High School Certificate 80%, Academy of Art and Design, Tsinghua University 65%, China Central Academy of the Arts (CAFA) - Design Courses only Two semesters full transcripts including H&C Assessment and Studio Assessment with average 70%, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology (BIFT) - Design Courses only All modules with Pass + P in final major project. All Undergraduate Programmes IELTS 6.0 minimum component 5.5.
