11月11日荣军纪念日活动圆满落幕，现场气氛感人，师生都受益匪浅。事后，上海枫叶国际学校记者社的小记者们采访了我校部分领导和老师，进一步探寻纪念日活动的多样价值。下面让我们一同走进专访现场，倾听历史的回声。

BC principal Glenn Borthistle：I think it is important for young people to recognized that people in previous generation has been sacrifices, so they can live safe and free and open lives. Those people who died or injured or gave their lives, it is a way to memorized their heroic deeds. So it is important for young people to be aware of that to pass their knowledge to every generation.I think for whenever a country or a nation wants itself to become and always takes a sacrifice, you don’t get prosperity, you don’t get a strong government, you don’t get freedom without sacrifice. So these people who have died from many countries leaded to our better life today.

加方校长格伦·波西斯尔：我认为年轻人必须认识到，是上一代人的付出，甚至牺牲，才使我们获得今天这样安全、自由和开放的生活。举办纪念日活动是一种缅怀他们英雄事迹的方式，同时也是继续传递力量的途径。对于任何国家和民族而言，没有牺牲，就难以变得繁荣，强大，就无力实现自由。

Deputy Headmistress & General Counselor Rinna Ruan：There is a war that will inevitably bring harm that we do not expect to see, and maple leaf has a saying that "education is to cultivate envoys for peace". Peace can be said to be inclusive, but also a harmonious symbiosis based on respect for diversity. In other words, all kinds of differences are the source of happiness. Only with peace can we provide an all inclusive life. Yesterday's activity touched the students deeply. Through the performance, the history can be reproduced, so that the students can have a feeling. This is the original intention of our activity. In the future, the school can set up a series of activity weeks and course theme songs about remembrance day to better remind students of history.

副校长兼总领事阮俊：战争必然会带来我们所不期望看到的伤害，而且枫叶有这样一句话“教育就是为了培养走向和平的使者”。和平可以说是一种*容，也是一种在尊重多样性的基础上的和谐共生，换句话说就是参差百态乃幸福本源，有了和平才可以给大家提供*罗万象的生活。昨天的活动给同学们感触很深，通过表演将历史重现，让同学们能有所感悟，这就是我们的活动初衷。后续，学校可以设计有关Remembrance Day的系列活动周和课程主题曲更好的让同学们铭记历史。

BC teacher Mr Lau: Because it is really aware that we commemorate soldiers who fought in the World War, so I think it is a really meaningful ceremony. Absolutely, I think it is a really great way to promote the Canadian culture and also to let the students remember those who fought for world peace. The main purpose of all kinds of cultural activities held by the school is to let students have a personal experience in this cultural environment. Instead, we need to create this kind of environment for everyone, so that our students can have this experience in the process, and arouse emotional resonance through experience.

加方教师Mr刘：因为我们很清楚，我们纪念在世界大战中作战的士兵，所以我认为这是一个非常有意义的仪式。当然，我认为这是一个非常好的方式来促进加拿大文化，让学生们记住那些为世界和平而战的人。学校举办各种文化活动的主要目的是让学生亲身体验这种文化环境。相反，我们需要为每个人创造这样的环境，让我们的学生在这个过程中有这样的体验，并通过体验激发情感共鸣。

BC teacher Bryan:Personally for me this day is important because I have two two grand father who were in both wars . My great grand father was in WW1 , served as artillery man , so he shots big guns . He was on Vimy Ridge . It was a very important place , which for Canadians . And then my grandfather serves in WW1 at hospital , so he was helping to take care of wounded people or people who were hurt on the battle field.And in the country side I think this day is to show our appreciate to the soldier who died in in the war ,who fought for their country.

加方教师布莱恩：对我个人来说，这一天很重要。我有两个爷爷，他们都参加了两次战争。我的曾祖父曾参加过**次世界大战，当过炮兵，能开大枪。他在维米山脊，是一个非常重要的地方。我的祖父在第二次世界大战中在医院服役，所以他帮助过不少人，特别是在战场上受伤的人。

对于国家来说，我认为这一天是为了向在战争中牺牲的士兵表达我们的感激之情，铭记他们是为国家而战。

此次活动，综合了演讲、话剧、合唱经典歌曲以及默哀等多种形式，融汇课堂知识，充分发挥师生智慧，让生活在和平年代的师生感受到战争带给人类的破坏与伤痛，唤起了对于和平永恒的渴望。海枫全体师生，将会身体力行，**彼此*容、尊重，做走向和平的使者。
