上海枫叶国际学校2016高一新生代表程奥琳、许家齐在先导课程开班典礼上的讲话

尊敬的各位老师，亲爱的同学们，大家晚上好!

Dear teachers and students，good evening!

今天我们很荣幸作为新生代表进行发言，我是上海市世界外国语学校初三的毕业生许家齐，旁边这位是我的搭档上海枫叶国际学校初三的毕业生程奥琳。

Today we are very glad to speak as representatives of the new students.I am Amber from Maple Leaf international school Shanghai，this is my partner from Shanghai World Foreign Language Academy,Jack.

让我们共同选择枫叶的原因有几点(1)枫叶有21年的办学以及教授BC课程的经验(2)枫叶是中国**的独立教学系统(3)枫叶是**的加拿大海外项目(4)学生高中毕业后具备对学业、语言文化和社会的了解，可以更适应西方社会(5)枫叶通过让学生接触西方教育模式和校园文化，让学生了解西方文化和教育模式。

There are several reasons why we chose Maple Leaf (First)Maple Leaf and the BC Ministry of Education had a very successful 21 year partnership.(second)Maple Leaf is the largest independent school system in China.(Third)Maple Leaf is the largest off -shore program in Canada(Fourth)This then will provide students with a solid understanding of academic,language,culture and society that will help them transition after High school into Western society.(Fifth)Maple Leaf experience exposes students,through Western educators and school culture,insights into Western culture,education systems,academic and social expectations.

而我认为最让我们受益的还是枫叶高中独特的教学模式。枫叶不像别的学校对孩子们的学习步步紧逼，它所提倡的自主学习更能让我们感受到学习的乐趣，枫叶的孩子们没有在死读书更没有在读死书。我们不需要被那些无用的东西伤透脑筋，相反在完成课程学习之外，你可以尽情在书的海洋中探索不一样的世界。

We enjoyed the unique educational model of Maple Leaf senior school.It is different from other school.We can have fun of independent study from Maple Leaf.Children from Maple Leaf never study mechanically.We don't need beat out brains by useless things.You can find another world of books if you complete your course.

在枫叶你不仅可以在课余做很多有意义的事情，而更大的收获是让我们的思维模式进行了改变，在风趣的课堂中我们可以尽情发表我们所想表达的观点，无论你的的回答有多么离奇，老师都不会对你进行的否定，而正是在这种思维模式的改变中，我们的思维才会越来越成熟，才会在学习中感受到乐趣。

You can do too much significant things after class in Maple Leaf.It changes our thinking model and bring us greater rewards.We can express our ideas from the funny class.Whether your answer is weirdness.Teachers won't be on your absolute negation .But in this kind of thinking model,our thinking will be more and more mature，we can realize the fun in learning.

在枫叶主动学习会变成日常在公立学校，学习永远是机械化的，每一次作业都仿佛是为了老师家长，而在枫叶作业的模式形式多样：小报、PPT、剧本……所有的作业都需要我们自己去体验并且查阅多种资料，虽然繁琐，但我们都非常快乐。

Active learning will become routine in Maple Leaf,Learning was very mechanization from other school.Everything seems for teachers and parents.But in Maple Leaf we work in a variety of forms：the tabloids ,PPT and the script

.All assignments need to be by yourself and refer to all kinds of information.Although it is very tedious,but we are all very happy.

枫叶的三年不仅是努力拼搏的三年，更是挥洒青春的三年，在座的每一位都有着无限的潜能，那么从今天开始宣告启程吧!

It is not only the three year of hard work in Maple Leaf,but also the youth of three years.Everybody has unlimited potential. Start from today.

今天学生看枫叶，明天枫叶看校友。

Learn from Maple Leaf today,.Maple Leaf will help you tomorrow.
