专业概况

在这里学什么？

The Computing and Software Systems major will focus on providing students with considerable technical expertise in computer science and software engineering, including exposure to a variety of programming paradigms, an understanding of the systematic processes underpinning the software development lifecycle, and an appreciation of advanced topics in computing. This major will be a natural pathway to the Master of Engineering (Software), the Master of Science (Computer Science), and the Master of Data Science. Graduates with a management orientation will also consider the Master of Information Systems (MIS).

Whether you’re interested in app development, gaming, productivity software, financial products or website development, the computing and software systems major will build the knowledge and skills you need for a career in the software industry.

You’ll use programming languages, learn about the systematic processes behind the software development life cycle and gain an appreciation of advanced computing.

The Computing and Software Systems major in the Bachelor of Science is accredited by the Australian Computer Society.

为来自中国的学生设计 To be eligible for entry to an undergraduate degree you must fulfill all of the following requirements: Complete the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or an overseas qualification equivalent to Australian Year 12. English language requirements: TOEFL - Paper based test - a score of 577 or more including a score of 4.5 in the Test of Written English. Internet based test - a score of 79 and scores of: Writing: 21, Speaking: 18, Reading: 13, Listening 13. IELTS (Academic) - an overall band score of 6.5 or more in the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS), with no bands less than 6.0. Pearson Test of English (Academic) - an overall score of between 58-64 inclusive and achieve no PTE communicative skills score below 50. Cambridge English: Advanced/Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) - A Cambridge English Score of 176 with no skill below 169.
