美国夢沃学校(上海)Chris给高年级同学的一封信

Dear Seniors,

亲爱的高年级同学们：

The time has arrived when you'll be hearing from more and more colleges and universities.

获取录取通知书的时刻已经到来了。

I know it's a very emotional time, potentially both very exciting but also upsetting and worrisome.

我知道此时此刻是情绪非常激动的时刻，可能是喜悦的，是悲伤的，或者是焦虑的。

I have a few requests to make, which are particularly important for us as a small community:

在这个特殊的小圈子里，我有一些必须强调的事情：

1、 Please don't gloat, brag, post on WeChat, etc., news of your admissions. It's fine to share good news with your family, friends and teachers, but respect your classmates’ own experience and realize that this could make them feel even worse. Similarly, and this should go without saying, don't make negative comments about other people and the outcomes they receive.

1、请不要沾沾自喜，傲慢吹嘘，在朋友圈炫耀你的录取信息。可以和家人，朋友，老师们分享你的喜悦，同时也请尊重和考虑同班同学们的情绪和感受。同样地，不要负面评价任何同学的录取情况。

2、Via private message or email, please let Larry and me know of ALL decisions you have received or hear about in the coming weeks: admitted, WL, deferral , denial, or anything else (conditional admission, etc.).

Tell us the school and how you applied (eg: ED/EA/Regular). This information will be kept private, but it's extremely important and helpful for us to have a clear picture of all outcomes when it comes time to advising future students and evaluating areas where we can improve at the school.

2、请通过邮件通知Larry和我关于你的所有录取决定：录取，候补，延迟，拒绝，或者任何其他情况(有条件录取等等)。

告诉我们你如何申请的学校(具有约束力的提前录取/不具约束力的提前录取/正常录取)我们会保密你的信息，这对于我们将来评估学生和帮助学生申请学校是至关重要的。

3、 Lastly, keep us up-to-date about any correspondence or requests that you get from schools. We want to help you as much as we can but we need to know ASAP in order to do so.
