7月30日，上海枫叶国际学校举行了阅读听力专题讲座，讲座主要针对学生如何自主学习听力和阅读作出解答，本次讲座使我收获颇深。首先是听力，Mr. Rodney由是什么，为什么，到怎么样的思路向我们详细介绍了如何有效地听听力。从他的演讲中，我们不仅被他有效的、分层次角度、有深度的课程吸引，还学到了如何做一个好的演讲发言。

We held a conference with the content of listening and reading strategies in MLIS on July 30th. What makes the lecture so great was its superior teaching methods.

In the listening part, Mr. Rodney taught us the method of active listening. Through the train of thought: "what, why, and how." Therefore, we could memorize the key steps just as trying to anticipate what the speaker might say. What's more, his fluent voice tone and his eye-contact plus a little bit of body language make his speech well-presented. Making all of us learned what a perfect presentation is.

接下来，就是干货满满的阅读讲座Ms. Ally带领我们走进了一座做阅读城堡，她抓住考试重点，分析了不同类型的阅读题型及训练方法。不仅如此，她还为我们提供了针对阅读训练的有效媒介，让我们对如何阅读有了更深的了解，更广阔的平台，同时也提高了我们对阅读的兴趣。两位老师从考题出发，实际性地为我们带来了一场使师生共受益的讲座。

In the reading part, Ms. Ally led us to a reading castle. There are four foundation chambers in the castle: different types of exercise, the ways to answering questions, advice when reading, and websites that help you exercise. In this case, we not only could be better prepared for the exams but also could easily fully get the meaning.

In conclusion, this lecture on reading and listening skills did not last long. Nonetheless, we got so many useful points.
