虽然上海进入了季节上的冬天，但上海枫叶国际学校却迎来了丰收的秋天，高三学子们先后喜获境内外重点大学的录取信息。为了展示这些学子的所做和所思，我们推出这个采访报道系列。Grace Wang(王同学) 就是今天被采访的**位优秀学生。

The weather in Shanghai now is in winter, but actually in fall in Maple-leaf International School-Shanghai considering the fact that many Grade 12 students have admitted to their universities or have received pre-conditional offers. To well show Grade 12 students’ learning or thinking in Mapleleaf-Shanghai Campus, we are providing the series of report in which Grade 12 students will be selected and interviewed. Grace Wang is one of the students in this report.

上海枫叶国际学校

王学姐：对于我的**个offer就收到了英国伦敦大学UCL的营养医学科学专业的录取通知书，我与我的父母都是很意外惊喜的，我一开始其实只是想试试看，没有想到真会收到这么好的offer。

Wang: as for my first offer, I received the admission letter of nutrition medicine science major from UCL, university of London. Both my parents and I were very surprised. At the beginning, I just wanted to have a try, but I didn't expect to receive such a good offer.

王学姐：大学首先最重要看重的就是成绩即GPA，其次大**看你写的文书，还有课外的一些活动。枫叶学校对我来说是进入大学的一个跳板 一个平台，除了完成正常的课程之外，我还有一些参加课外活动的机会，锻炼了我许多方面的能力。

Wang: the first and most important thing in college is grades, namely GPA. Secondly, the college will look at the documents you write and some extracurricular activities. Therefore, maple leaf school is a springboard and platform for me, giving me some opportunities to participate in extra-curricular activities and training my ability in many aspects.

王学姐：由于我的母亲是一位老师，所以我的家庭相对于其他家庭更加地严格要求我自己，使我自己对自己要求也较高。

Wang: because my mother is a teacher, my family is stricter with me than other families, so I push myself a little more.

王学姐：对于对青年人的逆反行为，我觉得大部分人都会经历这个阶段，当初我与父母也产生了许多的矛盾。只要与父母好好沟通，都是可以化解的。

Wang: I think many students at the age of teenagers will go against their parents. I had a lot of conflicts with my parents as well, which can possibly be resolved by communication with parents.王学姐：对我来说，来枫叶这是我人生中的一个巨大改变。如果没来枫叶，我可能上一个不错的大学，在我的城市里平静的过完一生。反之，来到枫叶让我有机会去世界看看，也让我有机会见识到不同的人与事。

Wang: for me, coming to maple leaf is a great change in my life. If I had not come to maple leaf, I would have gone to a good university and lived a peaceful life in my city. Instead, coming to maple leaf gives me a chance to see the world and to see different people and things.

王学姐：在未来，我想用自己的成绩得到一个喜欢的**，同时我其实还想兼顾我的一些爱好，去学习声乐或开一家奶茶店。

Wang: in the future, I want to get a job I like with my achievements. At the same time, I also want to take into account some of my hobbies, such as learning vocal music or opening a milk tea shop.
