A Brief Interview to Mrs. Gunter about the Upcoming University Fair

Quentin: All right, thank you Mrs. Gunter for coming to our interview, about this year’s university fair, also about yourself. First of all, I’d just want to enquire about where is your hometown?

Mrs. Gunter: My hometown, I was originally born in Saint Anns , Jamaica. And then, afterwards, I grew up in Ottawa, Ontario.

Quentin: Oh, yes, the capital city of Canada.

Mrs Gunter: Yes.

Quentin: And then, next question is, which university did you graduate from ?

Mrs Gunter: I attended the University of Ottawa, in Ontario.

Quentin: Wow, and what’s your major in university ?

Mrs Gunter: When I went to the University of Ottawa, I studied Biology, I had a specialization in Biology, which is sort like a major, but a little bit more work. And I also did a minor in Chemistry.

Quentin: Oh, cool. And also how do you think about your major ?

Mrs Gunter: My major was very interesting, I learned a lot of Biology, containing to past evolution, lots of ecology, a lot of plants, base Biology. And then My chemistry was the most enjoyable, I learned about organic Chemistry, which was fantastic.

Quentin: En.. That’s sounds great. Now let’s move on to our this year’s University fair, and so how do you think about our University fair ?

Mrs Gunter: I think the fact that the school is hosting a University fair, is very beneficial to Grade 12 students. I think they will have the opportunity to ask questions to university representatives to get accurate answers, and I hope that students will attend very well-prepared.

学校办大学展对于高三年级来说是非常有帮助的，高三年级学生们将有机会去问大学相关的问题，并且得到官方(妥善的)回答，我希望学生们能有所准备的参与此次活动。

Quentin: And, yes, I think it is also beneficial to Grade 10 and 11 students, right ?

Mrs Gunter: Yes, because the Grade 10 and Grade 11 will be volunteer at the University fair, and they get to sort of experiences, so that they know what to expect when they arrive to Grade 12.

没错，十年级和十一年级的学生们，将作为志愿者参与到大学展当中，他们会得到相关的经验，也会对十二年级的大学展有个预期。

Quentin: For sure. And all right, we have the last question, that can you give students some tips or advice during the University fair ?

Mrs Gunter: Okay. When the students prepared for the University fair, some tips I would like to give are, they need to make sure that they dressed appropriately, so first impression is the most important. Then, they should speak confidently when they are talking to the representative, not to be nervous, and they should ask questions, prepared the questions before they come to the fair, so that they know exactly what they would like to ask.
