第十二届枫叶国际教育博览会将于十一月下旬在枫叶教育集团各高中校区隆重召开，其中上海枫叶国际学校的展会时间为2016年11月28日10:00-14:30。届时，来自加、美、澳、英等国共70所大学院校的招生代表将参与其中，与我们枫叶学子进行面对面的交流。为了帮助我们的学生和家长提前了解各参展院校的基本情况，上海枫叶留学中心将在展会举办前的近一个月时间里，对参展院校做逐一介绍，以下为大家介绍加拿大BC省参展学校(三)。

加拿大BC省篇

BC省(British Columbia)全称不列颠哥伦比亚省，又称卑诗省，位于加拿大最西部。主要城市有首府维多利亚及加拿大第三城市温哥华。不列颠哥伦比亚省自然资源储量丰富，支柱产业是林业、矿业、农渔业;新兴产业有旅游业、电影业和高科技产业等。

The province of British Columbia locates in the west of Canada, which contains famous cities like its capital city Victoria and Canada’s third biggest city Vancouver. British Columbia is rich in natural resources. The industries of forestry, mining, agriculture and fisheries are its pillar industries. And the industries of tourist, film and high-technology are its emerging industries.

11、道格拉斯学院(Douglas College)

道格拉斯学院位于风景秀丽的温哥华市，是加拿大一所享有盛誉的综合性公立社区学院。学院成立于1970年，拥有约一万名学生。学校地理位置优越：两个校区分别靠近机场和大型购物中心;新建校区位于高贵林地区，校舍规模宏大，教学设施完善;老校区New Westminster位于市中心附近。学院提供本科及多种转学分的学术课程、各种职业课程以及ESL培训。每年超过1000多名的Douglas 毕业生顺利转升大学，多数入读UBC，SFU 或Victoria大学。

Established in 1970, Douglas College is a very famous comprehensive public community college in Canada in Vancouver with around 10,000 students. The campuses stand in excellent locations near airport, shopping mall and city center. The college provides different types of programs to meet students’ needs, including bachelor, various university transfer, vocational and ESL programs. Every year, more than 1000 graduates can finally transfer to universities, and many of them will study in UBC, SFU or University of Victoria.

12、北岛学院North Island College

北岛学院成立于1975年，位于不列颠哥伦比亚省温哥华岛，是**投资建立的公立社区学院，目前学院拥有四个校区，今年有8000多名学生就读。北岛学院致力于向学生提供高水准的课程及服务。今年学校开设1000多门科目及80门学分课程，目前商科及旅游酒店管理专业有带薪实习。该校的小班化教育也将提供给学生有更多和导师一对一交流学习的机会。

North Island College opened its doors as a public community college in 1975 on Vancouver Island. College has more than 8000 students studying in 4 campuses. The college committed to high quality and excellence in our programs and services, offering more than 1000 courses and 80 credit programs. Co-op Education option is available in Business Administration and Tourism & Hospitality Management. Small classes allow more time for students to communicate with their instructors.

13、汤姆逊河大学(Thompson Rivers University)

汤姆逊河大学(TRU)所在的甘露市 (Kamloops) 距离温哥华350公里，车程3个半小时(飞机45分钟)。学校绿意盎然，拥有一座植物园，历史建筑和现代建筑错落有致。城市风景优美、气候宜人、安静祥和、民风友善的特质营造出非常适合读书的氛围。汤姆逊河大学(TRU)建校于1970年，是一所颁发学士、硕士、法学博士学位的公立综合性大学，也是中国教育部**批认可的加拿大公立大学，汤姆逊河大学提供超过140项各类课程，在此就读的有26000名全日制学生，其中*括来自于超过85个国家的2,800多名国际留学生。汤姆逊河大学重视在中国促进国际教育交流及培训，互动频繁。目前学校拥有800多名来自中国不同地区的学生。

汤姆逊河大学也是枫叶理科教师项目的两所加拿大指定大学之一(另外一所是安大略省的湖首大学)，该项目的学生学成回国后将在枫叶学校教书，待遇是每年约50,000加币起薪，这个薪资待遇是和温哥华公立学校老师一致的。汤姆逊河大学的教师项目是之后项目，学生需要先申请理学院然后申请教育系。课程是4年的理科学习和4个学期(1年，7月-7月)，学制总计是5年时间。

Thompson Rivers University is Located in the heart of Kamloops , 3 hours’ drives or half hour’s flight to Vancouver with distance of 350 kilometers. the TRU campus and city features plenty of green space, a botanical garden, and an impressive mix of historic and modern facilities, while the city is warm, peace and friendly for study. Established in 1970, TRU is one of first group public universities recognized by Chinese Education Department, offering more than 140 programs including bachelor, master and doctor in law. TRU has about 26000 students which includes around 2800 international students from more than 85 countries. TRU focus on communication and training with China, and currently more than 800 Chinese students study in TRU.

TRU is one of two designated Canadian Universities for Maple Leaf’s Teacher Program, and the other is Lakehead Unviersity in ON, which will be introduced below. After graduation, Maple Leaf BC-certified teachers` beginning salary is the same as a Vancouver public school teacher`s salary (approximately $50,000 Cdn dollars per year). Thompson Rivers University Teacher Program is a Consecutive Education program that means a student will study in the Faculty of Science or Math first and then apply to the Faculty of Education. The length will be 4 years of B.S. Study and 4 terms of B.Ed study (July-July). The total length would be 5 years.

14、Lakehead University 湖首大学

湖首大学成立于1946年，是位于加拿大安大略省安省桑德贝市的一所公立大学，学校拥有桑德贝及奥里利亚2个小区，提供给学生出色的大学体验，教学质量优秀，并且教学也融合了丰富的社会及文娱活动。学校提供超过50个本科专业. 我们有优越的语言生活环境，独特的小班授课方式，还提供带薪实习机会以及高额奖学金。在本次教育展湖首大学还将专为枫叶的学生提供现场录取机会。

湖首大学是枫叶理科教师项目的另外一所加拿大指定大学，湖首大学提供教育同期项目和之后项目。学生需要同时申请3年学位或4年荣誉学位课程并申请2年的教师项目。学生完成后他们将同时获得湖首大学提供的2个本科学位。之后项目是申请人已经完成**个学位或荣誉学位后进行教师项目申请，**学位不一定是在湖首大学完成，也需要在教师学院中完成2年教师项目。

Lakehead University a public university located in Thunder Bay City in ON from 1946. Thunder Bay and Orillia campuses promise a total university experience, a blend of academic excellence and opportunity with a rich variety of social and recreational activities. More than 50 undergraduate program are offered here with excellent language and life environment, small class size, co-ops and awards. As a proud host to 9 Canada Research Chairs and revolutionary facilities, we also promise excellence in research. Maple Leaf graduates are currently studying Business, Engineering, Environmental Management, Forestry and Outdoor Recreation programs. Lakehead offers scholarships to Maple Leaf students and we offer on-site admissions.

As the other designated university for teacher program, Lakehead University provides both a Concurrent Education Program and a Consecutive Education Program. The applicant needs to apply to enter a bachelor degree program (3 years) or an honors bachelor degree program (4 years), as well as the two-year Bachelor of Education program. Students will receive two degrees from Lakehead U after complete.

The Consecutive Education program is a program that is designed for applicants who have already received a bachelor degree or an honors bachelor degree. This degree does not have to come from Lakehead U. Students with a Math or Science degree only need to complete the two-year Bachelor of Education program.

加拿大的部分学校采用团申的形式，学校留学中心近期会组织高三学生集中团申，具体安排表如下。团申只针对表中所列的加拿大部分学校，有意申请加拿大其他学校或其他国家学校的同学可以跟留学中心老师，各国申请形式各不相同，除加拿大外的其他学校一般不采用团申形式。
