专业概况

在这里学什么？

This major program develops an appreciation of the levels of organization of life, its diversity, and the processes by which life has achieved its present forms. The program is recommended for those who wish to study biology as part of a liberal education, to prepare for a teaching career in secondary schools, or to prepare for graduate study in biology or the health professions.

The study of biology opens the door to diverse career opportunities. Many life science majors go on to attend professional schools in the health sciences (medical, nursing, and dental school) or graduate study that leads to careers in academia, industry, or government. Others pursue careers in conservation biology, law, journalism, teaching, and public health, among other options.

为来自中国的学生设计 Other English Language Requirements: MELAB (plus speaking): 85 range with section scores 80+ and 3+ in speaking; TOEFL (PBT): 600 range with section scores 57+; ECPE: Certificate with all sections at least a C; CAE or CPE: 185 with no less than 180+ in all sections (CEFR C1);PTE Academic: 68 with all sections equally strong.
