专业概况

在这里学什么？

The MEd program in International Higher Education provides students with deep knowledge of the changing landscape of higher education globally and will prepare them to work in multiple areas including higher education policy, administration, international student affairs and study abroad.

A collaboration between Loyola’s Higher Education and Cultural & Educational Policy Studies/Comparative International Education programs, the global cohort format of this degree program will ensure that this opportunity for advanced study and professional preparation is available to students who are not only based in Chicago or in the U.S. but anywhere around the world.

Coursework in this program will be online with the exception of two blended courses that will require students to travel to Loyola’s campuses in Rome and Beijing or Ho Chi Minh City, for a two-week and one-week session respectively. The internship requirement may be completed in the student’s country of residence or at another location arranged by the student.

• Skilled policy analysts able to use advanced statistical analysis for data-driven decision making.
• Develop and undertake effective, high quality assessments and program evaluations.
• Demonstrate an understanding of social justice and the application of social justice concerns in the domain of higher education, particularly in regard to student development, the advancement of intercultural understanding and (relatedly) with respect to education abroad programs.

为来自中国的学生设计 The Graduate School welcomes applications from international students who have completed a four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or its equivalent. TOEFL, a minimum score of 79 on the iBT or a 550 on the written test is required. IELTS, a minimum score of 6.0 is required. PTE, a minimum score of 53 is required.
