Do you want the best outcomes for people at home and abroad? Are you passionate about community welfare and social justice? Then consider studying a Bachelor of Arts (Social Justice Studies).

You will study social justice issues in local, national, and international arenas to become a better informed citizen and community leader. You will develop a blend of critical appraisal and consultative skills needed to tackle tasks such as community consultation and policy analysis.

Career outcomes

Graduates will acquire the skills for a career in legislative advocacy, human welfare services, human rights and peace organizations, child advocacy, health advocacy, social justice education, government, and careers involving human rights, disability rights, and environmental justice.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have completed Senior High School Certificate with 70% or equivalent. Applications are based on comparisons with Australian Year 12 level examinations. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic only) score of 6.0 (or better) (no component lower than 5.5); TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (or better) (with a minimum Test of Written English Score of TWE 4.5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) score of 213 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 4.5); TOEFL (internet based) score of 80 (or better) (with 19 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 50 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 50); Cambridge English: First (FCE)/ B2 First with a score of 169 or above. No less than 162 in each skill.
