2017年6月2日，美国梦学校(上海)国际高中举行了毕业典礼，在典礼上美国梦沃学校总校招生办主任Mr. Jack Sweeney为大家爱做了分享，以下是致词Speech by Mr. Sweeney详细信息：

Good morning!

Welcome faculty, administrators, friends, parents and of course the graduates of 2017. This is your day and no one can take the experience and opportunities you have had at school. There are a few people you need to thank, most importantly your parents. Without them this day would not be possible. Your teachers and administrators, without them you would not have reached your full potential.

大家上午好，首先我想对在座的各位老师，学校管理层，朋友们，家长们，当然还有我们2017级的毕业生们表示热烈的欢迎和祝贺。亲爱的毕业生们，你们是今天的主角。在过去的梦沃时光里，你们抓住机遇，不断挑战自己，尝试新事物，你们的积累和成长让你们取得今天的成绩。在这个庆祝你们成功的日子里，你们需要感谢一些人。首先，当然是你们的父母，没有他们，今天你们不可能来到这里。你还需要感谢你们的老师以及学校管理团队，没有他们，你们的潜力也许不会被充分激发，达到今天的高度!

I am also a graduate and a member of a class of 2017. In February, I finished my graduate degree after taking a few years off to raise my family and to take care of my daughter. I started my Masters program back in 2008. When my daughter became sick at the time, I stopped studying and put my energy towards her recovery.

我也是2017级的毕业生。今年2月份，我刚获得了硕士学位。事实上，我是2008年开始念研究生的。后来，我女儿生病了，我就暂停了学业，把精力放在了养家，以及照顾女儿，帮她恢复健康上。因此，中间搁置了几年。

I never thought I would ever finish, but I realized two years ago: what kind of lesson would I be teaching my own kids about finishing what I started and showing perseverance in a time when young people give up too easily.

我之前从未想过我会拿到硕士学位，但是两年前我意识到：在这个年轻人轻易言弃的时代，我应当给自己的孩子树立一个良好的榜样，不能半途而废，应当以身作则，坚持不懈。

Giving up should never be an option. The only option should be finishing what we started and to continue to grow, at a time when we are questioned for our worth and our ability to make a difference.

放弃从来都不应该是我们的备选项。当别人质疑问我们的价值，质疑我们是否有能力创造不同时，我们唯一的选择就是坚持到底，完成自己已经开始做的事情，不断成长!

This is my 10th trip to China since joining Montverde Academy in 2014. Each visit to China I, learn something new about perseverance – beginning with my first visit to the campus three years ago.

我2014年开始在梦沃佛罗里达总校**，这是我任职以来第10次来到中国。三年前，我**次来梦沃上海校区访问，之后每次来访，都深深叹服于上海校区的坚持与不懈努力。

To be a part of a school that has grown so much in three years, not only the enrollment but also the learning that has come through the changes of campuses and teachers, is a tremendous experience.

过去三年里，尽管有校址搬迁，教师流动，但是梦沃上海校区发展迅速，不但是学生人数增加了，学校的整体水平也成长了很多!成为这样一所努力向前，不断飞跃的而学校的一份子，大家肯定有非凡的体验。

My hope this institution can continue to work with Montverde Academy to produce students who are globally ready to be successful and make a difference.

我希望梦沃上海校区能继续与梦沃佛罗里达校区合作，培养出更多拥有国际视野，成就非凡的学生。

In closing, on behalf of Dr. Kesselring, I ask you, the class of 2017: are you ready to be forward thinkers, global ambassadors, and to demand excellence and most importantly, to finish what you started.

最后，代表总校校长Kesselring博士，我想问问我们2017级的毕业生们，你们是否已准备好成为前沿的思考者，全球大使，追求卓越，最重要的是，坚持不懈，实现自己最初的梦想了呢?
