专业概况

Biology, Health, & Society (BHS) is recommended for students interested in a broad view of biology and the interactions between science and society, whether focused on health, education or the environment.

The major is appropriate for pre-health students, as well as those who wish to pursue professional school (e.g., law school) or other non-biology-specific career options where knowledge of the natural sciences would be beneficial. BHS also works well when paired with another (non-)science field of study in a dual major. It differs from other Biology majors in that it requires fewer credits, less laboratory work, and has more breadth.

为来自中国的学生设计 Other English Language Requirements: MELAB (plus speaking): 85 range with section scores 80+ and 3+ in speaking; TOEFL (PBT): 600 range with section scores 57+; ECPE: Certificate with all sections at least a C; CAE or CPE: 185 with no less than 180+ in all sections (CEFR C1);PTE Academic: 68 with all sections equally strong.
