A combined degree of Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Bachelor of Science is the ideal pathway if you are interested in a career that incorporates both engineering and science. In this degree you have plenty of flexibility in choosing your majors to shape your studies to your desired career outcome in less time than if you were to complete two separate degrees. This combined degree combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience to help you become successful in whichever career pathway you choose.

Professional accreditation

A graduate of this program is eligible to apply for membership of Engineers Australia as a graduate Engineer. After further professional development, a graduate member with a Bachelor of Engineering may apply for chartered status as a Professional Engineer and, when granted, may use the post-nominal MIEAust CPEng.

The Bachelor of Engineering program is accredited by Engineers Australia and, through an agreement reached between the professional engineering bodies of other countries (the Washington Accord), is also recognized in the United Kingdom, the Unites States of America, Canada, Ireland, Hong Kong, New Zealand and South Africa.

The Computing major of the Bachelor of Science is provisionally accredited at professional level by the Australian Computer Society and through the Seoul Accord is recognised in other countries.

The high flexibility of this program allows you to create whichever Engineering and Science combination you desire, resulting in a multitude of career opportunities, such as a professional engineer with expertise in a science discipline.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have completed Senior High School Certificate with 70% or equivalent. Applications are based on comparisons with Australian Year 12 level examinations. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic only) score of 6.0 (or better) (no component lower than 5.5); TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (or better) (with a minimum Test of Written English Score of TWE 4.5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) score of 213 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 4.5); TOEFL (internet based) score of 80 (or better) (with 19 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 50 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 50); Cambridge English: First (FCE)/ B2 First with a score of 169 or above. No less than 162 in each skill.
