Firms conducting business in an increasingly global working environment need employees who understand how to deal with the challenges facing them. With USQ’s Bachelor of Business and Commerce (International Business) prepares you for such a role with a unique blend of business and international relations courses alongside the opportunity to learn a language (Indonesian, Mandarin or German) as a second major, or choose from a wide range of business and commerce related fields.

You will gain knowledge in global management, knowledge transfer, foreign relations, international human resource management, change in global markets and global strategies.

Career outcomes

As a graduate, you will be prepared for a generalist or specialist career in most organizations but in particular those operating in the international arena. Career opportunities exist in multi-national companies, government departments, investment and financial institutions, import and export companies, and international organizations.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have completed Senior High School Certificate with 70% or equivalent. Applications are based on comparisons with Australian Year 12 level examinations. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic only) score of 6.0 (or better) (no component lower than 5.5); TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (or better) (with a minimum Test of Written English Score of TWE 4.5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) score of 213 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 4.5); TOEFL (internet based) score of 80 (or better) (with 19 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 50 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 50); Cambridge English: First (FCE)/ B2 First with a score of 169 or above. No less than 162 in each skill.
