专业概况

Love to work in the tourism industry and marketing? Become part of the booming global tourism sector with USQ’s Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Marketing and Hospitality Management). Through a partnership between USQ and TAFE, you will graduate from your degree with two qualifications – a Diploma of Hospitality from TAFE and a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Marketing and Hospitality Management) from USQ.

You will first complete a Diploma of Hospitality at TAFE or an equivalent accredited body, and then apply directly to USQ to complete your Bachelor of Business and Commerce courses. You will also need to apply to have your studies assessed for credit towards the Bachelor of Business and Commerce.

With practical industry experience in hospitality at TAFE, combined with a thorough understanding of the principles and practices of contemporary marketing through your USQ degree, you will have all the necessary knowledge and skills to manage any hospitality environment.

Career outcomes

As a graduate, your career opportunities may include a management or executive role in the hospitality industry in hotels, resorts, catering, tourism, events and marketing.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have completed Senior High School Certificate with 70% or equivalent. Applications are based on comparisons with Australian Year 12 level examinations. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic only) score of 6.0 (or better) (no component lower than 5.5); TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (or better) (with a minimum Test of Written English Score of TWE 4.5); TOEFL (electronic or computer based) score of 213 (or better) (with essay rating of at least 4.5); TOEFL (internet based) score of 80 (or better) (with 19 minimum in all bands); Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 50 (or better) (with no communicative score less than 50); Cambridge English: First (FCE)/ B2 First with a score of 169 or above. No less than 162 in each skill.
