2016年10月17日，各班经过多日精心准备，“经受”了全校师生的强势围观和苛刻点评，最终，我们评出本学期美国梦沃学校(上海)“最美教室”。

After days of meticulous preparation forthe “Most Beautiful Classroom” competition, all the classes were ready to be reviewed by the faculty members and other students on Oct. 17th.After counting the votes, here we would like to unveil the “Most Beautiful Classroom”of this semester in MVA Shanghai: G9.3.

八年级的小故事

在紧张的周末结束了采购，八年级的女生一起在教室里讨论着教室布置，男生们就等着发号施令。人们都需要在一个充满绿色的环境，绿色植物是这次主题的中心，养一个植物不仅仅是因为装饰教室，也是锻炼我们的责任心去保护我们的带来的植物。

平日的生活每个人都不一样，那么生活照也是可少的，有不同的时间段比如：与家人一起旅游、在新生夏令营、在学校……虽然带着稚气的小伙伴们不成熟的布置着，即使时间的不够但是我们依旧怀抱着热情，每个人都非常兴奋装扮着自己的教室，同样他们也非常高兴能在自己的教室一展身手。

到了星期一教室里虽然还是不够满意，但最后都一起收拾。这一次是**次班级上的活动，每个人都付出了，我们也会一次一次变得更加成熟，积累经验，共同前进。

After a tense weekend, the girls of grade 8 came together in the classroom to discuss the classroom layout. The boys waited for their commands. People need to be in a green environment, and so plants are the main theme of our design. Growing plants not only helps decorate the classroom, but also helps to exercise ones’ sense of responsibility. Everyone’s daily life is different. Life is short, and it goes through different stages; for example: traveling with family, going to a new summer camp, or attending a new school— even though our childish friends are still not mature enough, even if the time is too short, we should still be enthusiastic about it. Everyone is very excited to decorate, and very happy to be in our classroom. Although on Monday we still were not satisfied, in the end we all put it in order together. This is our first class activity, and everyone contributed payment. This activity will also help us to mature over time, gain experience, and move forward, together.

9年级1班

lovelive是一个动漫讲述了九名少女为了阻止学校废校，去成为偶像希望能以偶像的名气增加生源挽救学校的故事。九名少女一步一步历经磨难和辛苦最终成为偶像的故事。她们很努力也一直为之奋斗，所以她们是我们的信仰，是我们所深爱的姑娘，她们自己创作自己编排自己制作服装，一切都是靠她们自己，她们锻炼体能，她们即使在下着大雪的天也不顾一切的赶往现场，她们很努力，她们是我们一生不变的信仰。

Lovelive is a Japanese cartoon about a group of nine girls. They try to stop their school from being closed down. They decide to become idols to increase enrollment at their school and thus save it. The nine girls work step by step, enduring trials and bitterness. Eventually, they become school idols. They continuously struggle for their cause, so we believe in them, and love them dearly. It is also their responsibility to create and make their own clothes. They must always depend on themselves, exercising immense physical stamina. Even on snowy days they rush to the scene and work hard. In our class, I hope everyone studies hard and does the activities. We are one team! We can do our best! This is why we picked Lovelive as our classroom topic—nothing is impossible.

9年级2班

为了这次最美班级的评选，在几个星期前大家就开始讨论着如何布置教室。甚至在评比前一天晚上十点多，我和Miranda还在班级里布置教室。

教室虽然不大，但是十分的整洁温馨，窗台上的植物也为教室增添几分绿意。早晨阳光透过窗子洒进了教室，新的一天也就从开始了教室墙上被划分成了四个部分。**个部分是照片墙，大家的生活照片在墙上贴成了一个爱心形，也意味着班级的团结友爱。第二个部分是学习有关，宣传委员Miranda将一些有关托福的资料贴在了墙上，让大家有空可以去学习上面的内容。旁边还贴了一副世界地图，让大家对地理有更深的了解。中间那面墙上贴了一些美国大学的图标和一些有关万圣的装饰品。第三部分应该说是动漫，作为一个漫迷我带了一些海报和明信片去装饰那边角落。最后一个部分就是艺术类。有Terry所创建的Hip-Hop社团的海报，以及Coco的两幅油画作品，都为教室带来了艺术的氛围。使我们班也成为一个多元化的集体。

许多同学在布置完后帮忙去打扫教室，每个同学都想为此出一份力，不论评选结果怎样，我们9(2)班成为一个团结友爱的大家庭。：)

Nine o’clock at night, just before the 17th— tearing and cutting off pieces of tape, sticking them on the shelves, and thinking about Halloween coming and putting candies in pumpkin baskets. Don't get us wrong, we’ve been preparing for quite a long time. It’s been a long preparation for our happy family.Our room is not extensively decorated. It is neat and tidy, and rather simple. We have decorations of green leaves twined on the railing of the windows and on our air conditioner. It makes for a relaxed environment, and you can imagine sunshine coming in the window. Like other classes, we’ve posted the top 50 American Universities to encourage us and match our 4-year plans. In the future, we will change this into information about specific universities. We don't want students to pay too much attention to whether or not a school is within the top 50: finding a university that is most suitable for you is what’s important. A lot of us are preparing for the TOEFL test, so we searched for materials that maybe won’t come up in TOEFL classes but are also important. It may help to get us some points, and without a doubt, it will benefit us in our future days in America, or in writing stories. The decoration of our classroom is divided into sections: learning, art and hobbies. Learning is made up of idioms and phrases, with motivational stickers that our teacher bought for us, and geography stickers as well. In the other corner are hobbies. Many of us are interested in 2-dimensional design and in animation. We gathered information on WeChat, and decided to post some famous characters’ pictures and posters, which we found on the computer. In the art section, we have Terry’s club poster of Hip-Hop, and two oil paintings by Coco. Last but not least, the final wall is focused on us. Our photo wall includes the whole class, with group photos, posted within a heart shape, and our childhood photos.We’ve been discussing for a long time, and finally last week we decided what to display. Our teacher gave us a lot of help. Finding simple definitions of idioms and translating them took some time, and organising them was difficult. The problem was color printing. We had to wait till the weekend to take them elsewhere to print, and then we had to cut each piece out, which took patience. We had Halloween elements as well, including capes and pumpkin baskets. Our homeroom teacher helped print out our photos. When we had all the important materials, we were out of time, however, everyone contributed and everything was in place at the right time. It is certainly our classroom of the big family of 9 (2).

9年级3班

我们班的主题是音乐和环保。如果你看到我们班教室的左墙，你会发现每一个同学的照片旁边都附上了一个黑色的音符卡片，每一位学生在此卡片上用心地写上了自己的姓名、性格和爱好。就像每一个独立而不同的音符或音乐标记相互促进，最后组成了一段美妙的音乐，我们班的每一位同学都是独立而不可或缺的，最后组成了我们9.3班温暖的大家庭。同样地，考虑到全世界恶劣的环境问题，同学们想通过自己种植更多的树和植物来保护环境。所以，在教室的右墙上，我们贴了绿色的墙纸和摆了很多绿色的植物，多看这些绿色对我们的眼睛视力和健康也有好处。

The themes of our classroom decoration are music and environmental protection. If you look at the left wall of our classroom, you will find every student’s photo attached to a music note card. On this each student has written his name, character, and hobbies. Just like independent and different musical notes and symbols work with each other to make beautiful music, the students in our class come together to form the grade 9 class 3 family. Furthermore, in consideration of global environmental issues, our students would like to plant more trees and plants to protect the environment. So we pasted green paper and arranged a lot of green plants on our right wall— seeing more green is better for our eyes and our health.

怎样才是我们心中最美的教室?或许不在装饰的颜色，不在装饰的图案，而是我们最喜欢的内容。对于美高的学生，十年级是一个重要的阶段。开学伊始，大家就开始考虑自己的理想大学。于是我们班的同学就着手寻找自己dream college的资料并在教室里展示。一所所校园图片是比较好的装饰画。此外，新学期大家彼此都不太了解，彼此相处时间也不长，所以我们就写下自己所观察到的同学的初印象来增进感情。一开始大家都不知如何下笔，特别是男生还有点羞涩，但实际上大家观察得非常仔细。上述就是我们最喜欢的两个内容，我们用心呈现在教室里，我相信在这一年的时间中，我们教室会更美丽，我们这个可爱的班级会越来越棒!

What is the most beautiful classroom to us? Maybe it is not the color of the decorations that matters, nor the decorative patterns, but our favorite content, and the content that is the most meaningful to us.For students in American high schools, grade 10 is an important stage. At the beginning of this year, everyone began to consider what their ideal universities might be like. We started to collect materials from our dream colleges, and displayed them in the classroom. Pictures of our various favorite campuses make great decorative paintings.Furthermore, at first we were not very familiar with each other, and we have had little time to get to know each other, so we wrote down our first impressions of our classmates. Some, especially the shy boys, didn’t know how to write at first, but we actually observed each other very carefully.We display our favorite materials in the classroom. We love our classroom, and believe that our classroom will be more beautiful, and that our lovely class will be the best!

10年级3班

10月17日下午 我们迎来了MVA上海的最美班级评选比赛。每个班级都团结一心，布置起了自己班的教室。教室，是同学们学习的地方，学生只要呆在学校，那部分的时间都会呆在这里。一个好的教室环境能让同学们更加的投入与学习，也可以体现出每个班级的精神面貌。十年级三班的学生们，作为一个整体，我们更像是一个大家庭。我们决定齐心协力，向其他同学，老师们展现出我们“家”的温馨。大家将桌椅对齐，黑板擦干净，不让一丁点垃圾出现在我们的教室里。 我们的文艺委员Freda还特意用五彩的蝴蝶装饰了教室后面的公告栏。那五颜六色，翩翩起舞的蝴蝶，不正是象征着即将要展翅翱翔的我们吗。“让墙壁说话”有同学提出了这样的点子。把教室里的每一面墙都变成营造文化氛围的阵地，让每个同学在学习的同时能够感受到高雅的艺术气息。同时也为我们繁忙的学习生活增添了几分乐趣。总之，这一次的评选比赛不仅让我们增近了同学之间的距离，而且为我们留下了宝贵的回忆。

On the afternoon of October 17, we began the MVA “Best Class” contest in Shanghai. Each class works together to set up their classroom. The classroom is where students learn: students are often in school, and for all of that time they will be in the classroom. A good classroom environment can increase students’ participation and learning, and can reflect the spirit of each class. The third class of Grade 10, as a whole, is more like a big family. We decided to work together to show the rest of the students and teachers the warmth of our "home." We align the tables and chairs, keep our erasers clean, and don't let any garbage in our classroom. Our literature and art committee member, Freda, decorated the back of the classroom bulletin board with colorful butterflies. Colorful, dancing butterflies—isn't this a great symbol of how you can spread your wings and fly? "Comment Wall" allows students to put forth their ideas. Every wall in the classroom was decorated to create a cultural atmosphere, and let each student feel artistic while they are learning. We also added a few minutes of fun for our busy lives and studies. In short, the contest let the students grow closer, and gave us precious memories.

10年级4班

我们十年级四班的206教室，最有趣的装饰就是粘贴板上的一张张同学照片。不仅有同学们在学校的精彩抓拍，更有课余周末的娱乐活动，这代表着我们不仅是个热爱学习互帮互助的班集体，更有着和睦友爱的同学、朋友关系。在班级里的几个支撑柱上，更有着大型的气球画着笑脸，这几个鼓励的笑脸，更在我们紧张上进的学习氛围中增添了欢声和笑语。而非常有创意的是，当同学们行出班级时能看见，墙上有着我们特意粘贴的留言板，这可以让同学们自由发挥，对于我们的班级装饰布置，提供鼓励赞美或意见建议。最后，借着这次最美班级的评比，欢迎更多的同学来十年级四班参观!

We are Class 4 of Grade 10, and room 206 is our classroom. We stuck many of our classmates’ photos on the background. This shows that we are not only a class that loves to study, but also that we are good friends that help each other. We also have some balloons with smiling faces, because their good mood can cheer up us. There is also a paper on the wall, on which visitors can write their thoughts and feelings.We welcome you to visit our classroom!

11年级1班

上周我们班级进行了班级教室布置活动，所有班级成员都热火朝天地积极参与。当我们班得知要进行布置教室的活动时，全班都开始进行激烈的讨论，有的同学提议在教室墙壁上喷漆装饰，有的同学则提议将原本教室中的镜子加以装饰，并用绿色植物美化，最后当全班一起进行讨论后确定了方案，并且立刻进行了分工。班长何舟恒同学给相关同学分配了任务，生活委员张博承进行装饰用品的采购。在装饰那一天，同学们都积极热情的投入到**中，韩敏思、丁轶伦、刘彦欣同学一起将玻璃加以装饰，方宇、李厚桦装饰教室后墙壁，张博承、何舟恒装饰前墙壁，最值得一提的就是张赞轩同学利用油彩在墙上作画，十分美丽。同学们互相帮助，给正在**的同学传递东西，帮忙扶住椅子等等，无不体现了强大的班级凝聚力。

Last week our class decorated the classroom. All of the students worked pretty hard. As soon as we found out about this activity, the whole class started to discuss it with each other. Some students suggested that we decorate the walls by painting, while others thought that we could put plants in the classroom to make the classroom looks more alive. We made decisions together, and started to make plans. The class monitor, Franky, assigned different tasks to different people. The secretary, David Zhang, bought things that would be used during the decoration.The students worked passionately all day. Annie, Helen, and Crystal decorated the glass in our classroom. David Fang and Edward Li used stickers to decorate the back wall. David Zhang and Franky decorated the front wall. Eric had the most special decoration, drawing beautiful paintings on the wall. All of the students worked together. Some of them passed things to the students who were working, some protected the students who worked at high places, and all of the work got done as we worked together.

11年级2班

同学们经过集体讨论，最终确定了漫威 VS DC的教室布置主题。漫威和DC都是美国的漫画公司，漫威的代表作复仇者联盟系列和DC的代表作蝙蝠侠系列都拥有庞大的粉丝基础，两者在我们11.2班中都具有人气，但是经常产生哪边的作品更胜一筹的争论。于是此次教室布置将漫威和DC分列两边，由班上同学投票决定更爱哪边的作品，投票以贴照片形式进行，其过程受到了所有同学的关注和支持，大家纷纷拿出自己有趣的照片进行张贴，美化了教室环境，同时又满足了大家的兴趣。另外，林启睿同学还拿出了自己的书法作品，给教室 加了一点东方色彩，构建了东西文化交融的整体气息。

说起我们教室的装饰，那是我们一起决定的最能代表我们现状的东西。因为我们已经12年级，而且班上没有很多人。所以我们决定把大家的照片，美国前20名学校还有我们自己的女神校的校徽贴在板上。我们这样装饰教室的原因是因为我们希望班上的学生可以好好学习，去追寻自己的目标和梦想。当学生们看到他们女神校的校徽的时候，他们一定会被激励从而继续学习。这个学期是决定我们未来四年最重要的一段时间，然后学校的校徽会鼓励学生们去达到自己的梦想。不仅是我们班上的学生，别人也可以被那些装饰鼓励，更准确地说，那些装饰代表的是我们的未来。MVA的学生们一起努力学习去完成他们的梦想是我们共同的目标，鼓励年轻人像我们一样为自己的目标努力。

After discussing how to decorate our classroom, our class decided what was most representative of our current situation. Since we are seniors and there are not a lot of students in our class，we decided to put our pictures on the board, along with the logos of the top 20 universities and our dream schools.The reason we chose to decorate our homeroom in this way is because we want to encourage our classmates to work hard to pursue our goals and dreams. Once students see the symbol of their dream school, they are inspired to continue working. This semester is a most crucial time. It’s the time to decide our futures, and seeing school logos could encourage us to accomplish our dreams.Not only students from our class, but others too, may be encouraged by the atmosphere of the decorations, or, more precisely, by these symbols of our future. MVA students working hard to achieve their dreams together is a common goal of ours. It is also our job to inspire the younger students, and encourage them to keep putting effort into their goals as we do.
