美国梦沃学校(上海)国际高中2017春季通知十三：CAS抢旗

各位家长：Dear parents,

一、 喜讯分享Good News

5月16日周二上午，来自意大利东方联谊协会(Orientiamoci in cina)的三位客人到校访问。常务副校长刘刘，副校长陈劲和学术主任Chris与客人进行了充分的沟通，并就我校与意大利中学进行对口交流达成初步共识。

Three guests from ‘Orientiamoci in Cina’ came to visit our school in the morning of this Tuesday, 16th May. Deputy Principal Liuliu, Vice Principal Jin, and Academic Dean Chris as hosts exchanged lots of thoughts with them, and reached agreements about future cooperation with Italian high schools.

目前在计划中的互派交换生项目，将由我校与位于意大利佛罗伦萨，欧洲文艺复兴发源地的一所历史悠久的中学之间进行。我校的优秀学生与该中学的优秀学生将被互派至对方学校进行为期2周学习、参观、到当地家庭寄宿等等。以交换生项目为切入点，未来双方还将有更加广阔的合作内容并让学生获得好处。

Currently we are planning an exchange program with a time-honored high school in Florence, Italy, which is the cradle of European Renaissance. In this program, we plan to exchange students for two weeks so that our excellent students can have the chance to learn, visit and stay in each other’s schools and local households and so on.

Taking this program as the starting point, we will cooperate in larger scope to benefit students on both sides.

二、 关于CAS抢旗活动 About “Capture the Flag”

周一下午学生和老师们享受了很欢快的一段时光，看到学生们在一个友善的比赛中活动、跑步、享受自己的乐趣, 真的是令人放松。这段有趣且欢快的时光, 会让学生们脱离日常生活有不一样的感觉，这也是运动所带来的乐趣。

Our students and faculty members had lots of fun on Monday afternoon. It was really relaxing and happy to see the students running and enjoying themselves in the friendly competition. A fun time like this helps the students detach themselves from their daily routine for a while to give them more vigor and happiness, which is exactly the fun we can get from sports.

三、 关于拍照 About Photo-taking

周二下午在欢快的气氛中，全体师生在专业摄影师的指导下拍摄了个人照、班级集体照、全校集体照。所有照片将会在上海yearbook中展现出来。

This Tuesday afternoon was photo time. Professional photographers took school photos, class photos, individual photos of MVA students and faculty members.

四、 端午节休息 Dragon Boat Festival Break

5.28-30端午节休息。5月26日周五，按周四课表;5月27日周六为**日，按周五课表。校车27号下午2:30正常发车，30日晚20:20依次接学生返回学校。

Dragon Boat Festival Break: May 28th -30th . Friday, 26th May, will follow Thursday’s schedule; Saturday, 27thMay, will follow Friday’s Schedule. The school bus leaves at 14:30 on Apr. 27th and starts to pick up students at 20:20 as usual on 30th.

五、 周五家长会信息 This Friday's Parents Meeting

5.19周五6：30由总校国际部主任Ian先生主持召开了梦沃家长会，会上通报了目前学校的相关情况以及后续发展规划，解答了家长关心的问题。

International Department Director of MVA Florida will hold a parents meeting at 6:30 tonight (Friday, May 19th), in which he will report the school’s current situation as well as its future development, and answer questions from parents.

六、 六月以后至假期学校**安排

Agenda from June 1st to Summer Vacation

1. 6月1日周四，15:50，社团活动时间，第二次毕业典礼排练。全体学生和老师参加。

June 1st (Thursday) club time 15:50 The 2nd rehearsal for the commencement. All students and teachers should attend.

2. 6月2日周五，毕业典礼，9：30，毕业典礼入场;10：00，毕业典礼正式开始。全体老师、学生及12年级全体家长、其他家长、来宾参加。11：00左右，毕业典礼结束，接下来为茶歇，自由拍照。中午13：00校车，本周结束。

June 2nd the Commencement. All guests start to enter the 2nd -floor hall at 10:30; the commencement starts at 10:00. All faculty members, students, parents of 12th graders as well as other parents and guests will attend this celebration. The commencement ends around 11:00, followed by a tea break and photo time. The school bus leaves at 1 o’clock. End of the week.

3. 6月8日，周四，最后一次社团活动。最后一次校内托福课。

June 8th Last period of Club. Last TOEFL class.

4. 06月9日，周五，最后一次选修课。

June 9th (Friday) Last period of Electives.

5. 6月13日社团活动时间(15:50)，赴美夏校的学生，行前集中确认会，五楼。

June 13th Club time (15:50) MVA Florida Summer School Students Assembly 5th floor

6. 6月13日，最后一次体育课。最后一次艺术类课。

June 13th The last period of P.E. class and Art class.

7. 6月14、15日期末考试。

June 14th & 15th Final Exam.

8. 6月17日，赴美夏校出发。浦东机场。起飞时间：16:10。

June 17th Summer school students’ departure to FL. Pudong Airport;Departure time 16:10.

9. 6月18日，上海夏校学生报到

June18th Shanghai Summer School students get to school.

10. 6月19日，上海夏校开始;赴美夏校开始。

June 19th Shanghai Summer School starts; MVA Florida Summer school FL starts

11. 6月21日，18:00，周三，所有成绩进入系统完毕

June 21st (Wednesday) 18:00 All marks and comments go into Domelink.

12. 6月23日下午到晚上，14：00~17：00, 家长会。学生学期结束。

June 23rd 14：00 ~ 17:00 Parents meeting End of the semester

13. 8月15日9：00，全体教师返校，开始开学的准备、培训和新生体验营**。8月19日~27日，新生体验营。30、31日，开学准备，培训。

August 15th 9:00 all teachers come back to school to prepare for the new semester, new students camp, etc..
