一、 关于期中考试成绩查询 About Mid-term Exam Scores

本周末家长可以查询成绩期中考试成绩，具体时间请见公告。

Parents can check the mid-term grades this weekend. We will inform you the specific starting time through Wechat.

二、 本周P&B分享 About P&B

本周将会有两个主题。**个关于八卦与流言。第二个则是对之前偏见和歧视这个话题的扩展讨论。具体见附件。

This week’s P&B covers two themes: 1) about gossip and rumor; 2) Further discussion about prejudice and discrimination.

三、 关于北卡项目 About the North Carolina Project

周三上午，校务委员会全体成员和美国北卡罗莱纳教堂山分校STEAM项目的负责人进行了会晤，交流线上STEAM项目如何对接我们学校的STEAM课程的问题。

On Wednesday morning, all members of MVA Administration Committee met the person in charge of the STEAM project at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We discussed how we can integrate the online STEAM courses into MVA STEAM curriculum.

四、 师生篮球赛结果 Teacher -VS- Student Basketball Match Result

经过激烈的角逐，周一CAS师生篮球赛以青春洋溢的学生队获胜，尽管教师队不断更换老师，甚至女老师都上场，也未能扭转战局，场面紧张激烈，未上场的同学也热烈地加油助阵。

The CAS time on Monday saw an exciting basketball match between the student team and the faculty team. The youthful student team won the game. Although the faculty team changed its players several times during the game, they failed to turn the tide. The faculty team even sent a female teacher to play in the intense game. Students watching the game were cheering all the way for the players in the court.

五、 漂流阅读Drifting Reading

为提高学生阅读，拓展学生视野，学校特别开展了漂流阅读活动。Kindle电子书能够更加便捷、高效的方便学生阅读。学校提供20台Kindle电子书，供同学们使用。学校已经在Kindle里面下载了种类繁多的适合同学们阅读的中英文书籍，有兴趣的同学本学期可以到校长室Sissi老师处登记并借阅。

每位同学借阅时间不得超过2周，若要续借，请在2周内及时到校长室声明并登记。连续续借不能超过1次，即一位同学在通过一次续借之后，可连续持有Kindle的累计时间最多为4周。

超出借阅时间未按时归还的同学，每超出一天罚款10元，依次累计。损坏机器或充电器的，按损坏程度报修定价赔偿。机器或充电线丢失照原价赔偿。

希望同学们踊跃借阅，拓展知识，养成阅读的良好习惯。

To encourage the students to read and expand their vision，our school initiates the drifting reading activity. Since reading with Kindle is more efficient and convenient, our school will provide 20 Kindles for the students. Various English and Chinese books have been downloaded into those Kindles. Any student interested in it can come to Miss Chen (Sissi) in the Principal Office to borrow one.

You can keep it for 2 weeks at most. If you want to renew it, please come to the Principal’s Office to register within the 2-week term limit. You can only renew it once, which means you can only keep one Kindle for 4 weeks at most .

If you fail to return the Kindle and the charger on time, you should pay 10 RMB per day for keeping it longer. If you damage the machine or the charger, you should pay the repair fee accordingly. If you lose the machine or the charger, you should pay the whole price accordingly.

We hope that you can borrow and read actively to absorb more knowledge and develop a good reading habit.

六、 劳动节放假时间 Labor Day Break

4.29-5.1日劳动节休息，校车4.28日14:30离校，5.1日20：20开始依次在站点接返回的学生。

Labor Day Break: Apr. 29th – May 1st. The school bus leaves at 14:30 on Apr. 28th and starts to pick up students at 20:20 as usual.

梓润先生简介：

梓润先生，中医学硕士，毕业于上海中医药大学针灸推拿学院。学医七年，师从上海铜砭刮痧奇人李道政先生，丁氏滚法推拿流派是有康先生，北京中医正骨高人张五下先生，厦门一针疗法陈泽荣先生，对针灸、刮痧、推拿、中医正骨理论和技法有深入研究。

七年的学医生涯，医学经典勤读不辍，自研伤寒、内经，实践经方。

临床擅长治疗月经不调，痛经，脾胃病，心血管病，失眠，便秘，颈椎病，腰椎病，各种痛证等。

Profile of Mr. Zi Run

Mr. Zi Run, Master Degree of Traditional Chinese Medicine, graduated from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. During seven years of studying, he has learned Traditional Chinese Medicine from several masters, including master of copper span scrapping therapy Mr. Li Daozhen, master of the Ding’s rolling massage school Mr. Shi Youkang, master of bonesetting Mr. Zhang Wuxia from Beijing, and master of acupuncture Mr. Chen Zerong from Xiamen. Having learned from these masters, Mr. Zi Run established a profound understanding of both the theories and techniques.

During the seven years of learning, Mr. Zi Run continuously read medical books and invented new methods. He is good at curing irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, spleen and stomach pain, cardiovascular disease, insomnia, constipation, cervical spondylosis, lumbar spondylosis, and other symptoms.
