一、比较不错学生奖 Best Student Award

鉴于张天羽、张苑同学在学业和参加活动等方面的优异表现，学校决定授予张苑、张天羽同学“2016年度比较不错学生奖”，并对辛勤培养的父母表示祝贺。

MVA Shanghai decides to award Isabella Zhang and Amy Zhang the “Best Student of the Year in 2016”because of their excellent academic and non-academic performances. Congratulations to their parents for their dedicated effort in nurturing them!

二、毕业生喜报 Good News from Graduates

热烈祝贺我校毕业生又取得了可喜可贺的成绩!美国夢沃学校(上海)两届共45位学生毕业(*含1+2和2+2学制学生)。其中2016毕业学生约56%的学生获得来自前美国排名前50的综合大学或文理学录取;2017毕业学生，69%获得美国前50综合大学或文理学院的录取。另有数名学生被英美知名艺术院校以及加拿大、澳大利亚著名大学录取。

Congratulations to our graduates for their fantastic college application results! So far MVA Shanghai has had 45 graduates in total (including students in 1+2 and 2+2 programs) in these two years. In 2016, about 56% of our graduates received offers from top-50 universities in America or famous schools of arts and science. In this year, this number hits 69%. Several students also get offer from famous British art schools and famous universities in Canada and Australia.

第四届美国梦沃学校(上海)校运动会 The Fourth Sports Meeting of MVA Shanghai

《一》、班级筹备须知 Notice for Class Preparation

1、时间：2017年4月21 星期五 上午7：40开幕，下午2点结束。

11：45吃午饭，13:00篮球赛。报名截止时间：4月14晚21：00。

Time: April 21st (Friday), 2017; 7:40 opening; 11:45 lunch time; 13:00 basketball match;14:00 end.

2、① 本届运动会采用班级积分平均分排名，总积分排名前三名：分别奖励班费400元、300元、200元。

The sports meeting will adopt points-ranking evaluation system. The top three classes will get ￥400、￥300、￥200 respectively.

② 个人单项排名第1—7名对应积分7—1分，团体项目排名1—4名对应积分7、5、3、1分。前三名有奖品奖状。

As for individual events, the top 7 seven students can get 7 to 1 point in turn. As for team events, the top four teams can get 7, 5, 3, or 1 point in turn. In both individual events and team events, top 3 winners will get prizes and awards.

③ 个人参与得前三名者期末体育成绩加分(1—3名对应4、3、2分)。

Besides，all the top three winners in every event will earn extra 4, 3, 2 points in turn for their final PE grades.

3、开场表演：爵士舞、啦啦操、太极(每个节目3—5分钟)。

Opening show: jazz dance, cheer dance, and Tai Chi performance (Each show takes 3-5 min)

4、体育班长带领全班准备

Sports monitor shall organize the class to prepare for this sports meeting.

①英文解说词250字左右，介绍自己班的个性特点。

English introduction: around 250 words; to introduce the characteristic of your class.

②班级展示(3—5分钟)服装统一，表演积极向上、有个性有创意等，不提倡演唱类节目。

Class show time (3-5min): with unified clothing; positive and innovative performance. Singing programs will not be encouraged.

③班牌自行设计，要有创意。要求有中英文班级logo，学校只提供举杆与KT板。

Class board designing: be creative; class logo in both Chinese & English logo. The school will offer the pole and the board.

5、班级组别：Grouping

A组：8年级、 9(1)、 9(2)、9(3) Group A: Grade 8 and Grade 9

B组：10(1)、10(2)、10(3)、10(4) GroupB: Grade 10

C组：11(1)、11(2)、12年级、 教工 Group C: Grade 11、12 and teachers

6、项目/报名Events and Signing Up

①个人参赛项目有立定跳远、仰卧起坐、俯卧撑(纳入校纪录评比)，乒乓球 、羽毛球、桌球、网球。

Individual events include standing broad jump, sit-up, push-up,(these three records will be logged in campus records), table tennis, badminton, billiards, and tennis.

②团体参赛项目以班级为单位，有“消消乐”“火车头”“班级接力”(注：“火车头”是男生项目，女生给自己班加油哦!)

Team events: “Interesting Sports Pop” “Locomotive Race” ”Relay Race” (Note: the “locomotive race” is a boys’ event, yet girls should cheer for their own class)

③报名到本班体育班长处，然后统一报给校体育部长。报名人数有限，先报先得/详见报名表。

Inform your sports monitor what events you want to sign up for. Then, the sports monitor need to send all the signing-up information to the sports minister of the school. Each event can only hold limited participants, so first sign up, first enrolled. (Please check the registration sheet for more information.)

7、比赛规则及组织形式Rules and Forms of Organization

个人单项项目预赛之后即可进行决赛。

As for an individual event, the preliminary competition will be followed immediately by its final competition.

8、评比奖项 Awards

①比较不错班牌创意奖 The Most Creative Class Signboard Award

②比较不错领队 The Best Leader Award

③各单项、团体、总积分排名前三有奖牌奖状

There will also be awards for top-three winners in individual events, group events and the overall ranking.

④个人项目前三名可与总校校长合照，班级积分**可与总校校长合集体照。

The top 3 winners of individual events will take a photo with the Principal from the US campus. The best class can also take a group photo with the US campus Principal.

开始 7：30到场 Arrive at the playground at 7:30

1、(7:40)总裁判长潘老师介绍各流程/环节，各会场功能区、比赛场地等。

The chief referee introduces the process, functional zones, and competition areas of each event.

2、(7:45)学生代表发言。Student Representative Speech

3、(7:50)校领导发言 并宣布正式开始。

School leader gives a speech and announces the start of the sports meeting.

4、(8:00)进场： Enter the arena at 8:00

Each class led by their leader enters the arena to perform

At the same time, the commentator gives an introduction of the class. (The content is provided by the class. )

5、项目Team Events

①团体(9:00—10：00)： “消消乐”“火车头”“班级接力”

Team Events (9:00-10:00): “Interesting Sports Pop”, “Locomotive Race”, “Class Relay Race”

②身体素质/球类(10:00—11:30)Physique Games /Ball Games

立定跳远、仰卧起坐、俯卧撑、引体向上，纳入校纪录评比。

Standing Board Jump, Sit-up, Push-up, Pull-up. If you break the school record of any event, you and your record will be listed as the new school record.

乒乓球 、羽毛球、桌球、网球。 Ping pong, Badminton, Billiards, and Tennis.

6、 (11:45) 午饭开始Lunch Time…….

7、(13:00) 学生篮球友谊赛. Basketball Match.

9、(14:00) 全部结束!Wrap up!

五、达人秀表演通知 Notice about Talent Show

一首歌、一支舞、一台小品、一段曲调、一出舞台剧，给观众带来的是精彩的表演，给演员带来的是成长和自信。没错，MVA美国梦沃学校就是这样一个充满梦想和欢乐的舞台，在春暖花开的季节，2017年4月10日，即将开启上海全能秀的校园选拔赛。走上舞台,你就是主角,挑战无处不在,秀出你的青春风采,让才艺展示自己,让掌声肯定自我，你还在等什么?

May it be a song, a dance, a skit, a drama, or a piece of music, the audience can harvest fun and enjoyment from it while the performer himself/herself can harvest growth and confidence. Yes, that’s right! MVA Shanghai is such a stage, full of joy and dreams. As the warm and colorful spring comes, Apr. 10th will see the talent show of MVA Shanghai. Once on the stage, you will be the hero! Do you want to challenge yourself, to show your talent and gain more confidence from the applause of the audience? Come on, then!

六、关于赴美国夏校相关事宜 About Summer School in MVA Florida

本周参加美国总校夏校的孩子们会带回家两份文件，一份是临时监护权告知书，另一份是美国总校夏校的合同。这两份文件都需要家长签字，具体签字位置及填写内容参见夏校家长群和学生里分享的模板。

This week the kids will bring home two documents for you to sign. One is the Notice of Temporary Guardianship, and the other is Summer School Enrollment Contract 2017.Please refer to the templates shared both in parent Wehcat group and student Wechat group to see how to sign.
