2017年3月20日CAS时间，美国梦沃学校(上海)举行一场欢迎新生、新老师的文艺活动。

During the CAS time on March, 20th, MVA held a welcome party for new students and new teachers, in which new students gave wonderful performances.

学生感想 Words From The Students

本次CAS以绿色为主题，学生会让同学们带上有关绿色的东西。细细环顾了一下周围，有些很有创意的同学穿了绿叶子的衣服，带上了植物盆栽，给整个活动增添了色彩。

This time, the CAS theme was the color green. SAB encouraged students to bring in things related to the color green. Some very creative students wore clothing with green leaves on them and brought plants, which added a festive color to the activity.

活动开始，首先由动物保护社的成员和我们讲解有关宠物的知识，并且给大家看了许多虐待动物的照片，残忍画面不禁让我更加善待自己的宠物以及生活在我们周围的小动物们。

To start, members of the Animal Protection Club shared their knowledge and some images related to cruelty towards animals. Seeing this made me think more about how I care for my own pet and treat the animals around us.

接下来的活动中，主要是新同学们的展示，每一位同学都参与其中。因为音响的问题，很多的背景音乐没有成功放出来，表演者面对突发情况都表现的非常淡定，给出了精彩的演出。台下的观众们也积极配合，时而跟着节奏打节拍，时而鼓掌给予台上的同学们信心，欢声笑语充斥着整个礼堂。

The next activity was mainly for the new students, and each one participated. Because of an equipment issue, a lot of background music would not play. Despite the problems, the performers were very calm and gave us wonderful performances.The audience also joined in, beating and clapping along to give the performers confidence. Laughter filled the auditorium.

这次的表演，首先是由幽默小品“皮皮猪”进行暖场。接下来是一些唱歌表演，我最喜欢的是余陈恺的清唱和上海皇家学院MVA男团F4们(Rain Bob Kris and Green)的Rap表演。主唱Rain和Bob都超有气场，感觉像是真的在看演唱会 。接下来欣赏的便是学妹们火辣的舞蹈，虽然很短暂，却吸引了不少人。在表演接近尾声的时候，压轴的是大家期待许久的组合：Bob and Sissi，果然都在意料之中，表演最出色的是他们，赢得掌声最多的也是他们。

The main event of this welcome party was to enjoy the shows presented by all new students. A “cross-talk” comedy routine warmed everybody up. Afterwards, we got to enjoy several different songs. My favorite amongst them was Bill’s singing and MVA Royal Academy F4’s (Rain, Bob, Kris, and Green) rap. Rain and Bob were pretty impressive, and it felt like a real concert! We then enjoyed the dance performance, which was quite popular despite its short length. Finally, at the end of the event, we got to see the centerpiece presented by Bob and Sissi. Unsurprisingly, it was the best performance of the night, and ended with lots of cheers.

这次活动让我对新生们有了进一步的了解，我从他们身上看到的不再是之前初来乍到的羞涩与胆怯，而是他们焕然一新，变得更加活泼可爱，更好地融入了我们MVA这个大家庭。

This event let me get to know these new students better. I no longer saw the shy students I had when they first started at MVA—they were so different! Now they were all quite lively,and most importantly, they were fitting easily into our big MVA family.
