2017年3月18日，主题为“创新·体验·成长”的第32届上海市青少年科技创新大赛在上海科**堂开幕。上海市科协党组书记、副**杨建荣、上海市教委副主任王平、共青团上海市委副书记刘刚、上海市科协副**王智勇、中国福利会副秘书长潘燕、上海科技馆副馆长姚强、上海科普教育发展基金会副理事长金建敏等领导参与了开幕式，并前往展区参观，与参赛师生进行了互动交流。

On March 18th, the 32nd Shanghai Adolescents Science and Technology Innovation Contest took place at Shanghai Science Hall. The topic was “Innovation · Experience · Growth.” This contest was highly valued by Shanghai offcials and the following leaders took part in the opening ceremony and interacted with participating students and teachers in the exhibition section: Party Secretary and Vice-Chairman Yang Jianrong of Shanghai Association for Science and Technology; Deputy Director Wang Pin of the Shanghai Municipal Education Committee; Deputy Secretary Liu Gang of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League; Vice President Wang Zhiyong of Shanghai Association for Science and Technology; Deputy Secretary-General Pan Yan of China Welfare Institute; Deputy Curator Yao Qiang of Shanghai Science and Technology Museum; Vice President Jin Jianmin of the Shanghai Education Development Foundation.

大赛吸引了全市16个区约30万师生积极参与，共有486所学校的参赛选手提交了5753份申报材料。竞赛板块收到青少年科技创新成果4438项、青少年科技创意1079项、科技辅导员科教创新成果51项;展示板块收到青少年科技实践活动16项、少年儿童科学幻想绘画153幅、优秀组织单位15家，较去年相比申报人数增加40%，为历届最高。

The contest attracted about 300,000 teachers and students from around the 16 city districts to participate. A total of 5,753 projects were submitted from students from 486 schools. The competition section received 4438 youth science and technology innovation products, 1079 creative science and innovation projects, and 51 science and education innovation products by science and techology tutors; the exhibition section received 16 youth science and technology in action projects, 151 youth science fiction paintings, and collective exhibits from 15 excellent organizations. The number of participants increased by 40% for a record high.
