2017年2月1日至6日，美国梦沃学校(上海)有17名同学，2支队伍参加了在上海举行的“第十二届国际未来商业优秀峰会”，并与来自全国各地中学的一千多名学生，一百多支队伍进行了激烈的商业角逐。我们的学生是**次参加该赛事，对手不乏来自于清华附中、世界外国语、南京外国语…等超级牛校，且多次参赛，对于比赛规则的熟悉程度，参赛经验等方面我们的确处于劣势。面对这样的情况，我们部分同学也曾有畏惧，也曾动摇。然而随着比赛进行，同学们逐步调整好心态迎接挑战。最终我们战胜了诸多强大无比的对手!横扫三大团队奖!登顶四大个人奖项，取得了最后的胜利!同学们的出色发挥，为我校赢得了巨大的荣誉!

From Feb. 1st to 6th, 2017, the 12th International Future Business Leader Summit (IFBLS) was held in Shanghai. Two MVA teams, 17 MVA students in total, took part in this summit and competed with more than 100 other teams, i.e., more than 1000 middle school students in total from across China. It was the first time for our students to partake in this contest and they had to face strong competitors from prestigious schools like Tsinghua University High School, World Foreign Language Academy, Nanjing Foreign Language Scchool and so on, who had taken part in this contest many times and obviously had more advantages than us in terms of experience, familiarity with the contest rules and other aspects. Facing such competitors, some of our students were daunted at the begining and even wanted to give up. Yet as the contest went on, our students gradually became well-adjusted and were ready for the challenge. In the end, we beat many incredibly strong competitors and swept to victory with 3 team awards and 4 individual awards. The excellent performance of our students brought great honor and glory to MVA.

同时我们也收获了大量的个人奖项，MVA成为了获奖种类数目最多的学校之一。

Besides, we also won many individual awards, making MVA one of the schools that won the most awards in terms of both variety and quantity.

参赛学生感悟 Words from the Students

徐成志 Max Xu

虽然此前我只是参加过一次校际赛， 但本次赛前我有着充足的信心与饱满的热情。很不幸也可以说很幸运，**次参加全国赛的我们被分到了实力**的场，还和**的队一个国家。尽管最后我们队未得到**名但却得到了**名队伍对我的赞赏。商赛结束后他们的CEO和组员对我说：“你很厉害，**次参赛的种情况下可以玩成这样真的很佩服你。” 我想这才是这场商赛真正的意义。如果一场商赛下来你们只是在它的皮毛中竞争，哪怕得到了冠军又怎样呢?你未曾尝过它肉的鲜美。

Although I only partook in a business simulation intercollegiate game before I came to this IFBLS, I was looking forward to this contest with great enthusiasm and confidence. We were very unlucky or very lucky indeed, depending on how you would look at this: we were divided into a section full of strong competitors and were asked to compete in the same terrain with the strongest team. Our team failed to win the first prize, yet the champion team spoke highly of me. When the contest was over, the CEO and other members of the champion team said to me :" You are good at this. It is amazing that you can have such achievements as a first-time participant." I think the true meaning of taking part in this IFBLS lies in full engagement. One should try his best to tap into the value of this contest in order to get the best from it. If he just stays at the surface, it won't benefit him so much even when his team wins the first place.

此次参赛我深刻体会到了商场如战场。利益对于一个公司有巨大的诱惑力，没有一家公司可以抵抗金钱的诱惑。商场上的朋友，如果栓住你们的不是钱和利益，那你们的友情很脆弱。这场商赛上我们是敌人，这点我做得很不到位，但我很庆幸在商赛结束后我们是朋友。

In this contest, I deeply felt " Business is war without bullets". To any company, benefit works like a spell that never fails. No company can resist the huge temptation of money. If it is not money and benefit that serve as the bond between business friends, then the friendship is very fragile. As a first-time participant, i didn't do well in terms of considering other competitors as our rivals and fighting back hard. Yet, i am very happy that we became friends after the contest.

第十二届国际未来商业优秀峰会已经结束。很荣幸能作为梦沃代表参加英文场的比赛。在此，我想浅谈下作为团队CEO，我在赛前培训和正式比赛中的收获。正式比赛前的培训课程分门别类，为不同部门制定内容。在CEO课程培训当中，我学到了许多关于企业文化、战略管理的理论知识，收获颇丰。各个公司都应有自己独特的企业文化。

The 12th IFBLS is over. It was a great honor for me to partake in the English Section of this contest on behalf of MVA SH. Here, I would like to share with you what I learned as the CEO of the team during the pre-contest training and the real contest. Pre-contest training courses were customized for different departments. From the pre-contest training courses for CEO, I gained much theoretical knowledge about corporate culture and corporate strategic management. Every corporation shall develop its unique corporate culture.

此外，课堂上还进行了是否应该越级沟通的详细案例分析，使理论知识与实践结合起来，不再显得空洞。导师还引导我们去思考“绩效”、“文化”、“团队”当中，如若必须舍弃一个时应当先舍弃哪个。战略管理分为投资和运营。运营中，要**用商业模型去分析竞争对手，商业环境以及相关的产品或服务。

During the training, the instructor also conducted detailed case-based analysis on the question whether one should bypass the immediate leadership and directly present his appeals and complaints to higher levels, which combined theories with practice and made those theories sound more solid and less void. The instructor also guided us to think about the question "If we have to abandon one of the three items ‘Performance’, ‘Corporate Culture’ and ‘Team’, which one should be abandoned firstly? ” The Corporate Strategic Management course was divided into two parts: investment and operation. To do well in operation, we should know how to analyze our competitors with business models, the business environment as well as the related products and services.

通过这次比赛, 我的团队管理能力和沟通技巧得到了提升，同时也意识到自己在选择合作伙伴以及知人善用方面的短板。在整个商业环境当中，一味地求稳是无法得到卓有成效的发展的。在**二个财年，我亲身体会到这个道理并在后续的财年规划中，灵活使用贷款，使公司资产得到巨额提升。企业文化培训时有强调公司CEO精神面貌的重要性。因此，在这几天当中，哪怕公司掉入低谷，被其它公司的恶意操作所伤害，我还是不懈怠地向上搏取。

Through the contest, my skills of team management and communication were forged and improved. I also realized and reflected on my weakness in finding right partners and putting our employees into the right place. "In business world, if a company seeks stability all the time, it will never develop well." I learned this through my own sad experience in the first and second fiscal years. Then in the following fiscal years, I decided to use loans flexibly and made the total assets of our company rocket up. During corporate culture training, the significance of a CEO's presence and attitude was highlighted. Therefore, in those days, even when our company was at its lows or harmed by malicious operations of other companies, I never gave up and always kept an upbeat attitude to fight back.

最后我想说的是，商赛是一个很不错的交友平台。1200多人同台竞技，不仅提升了自己能力，还让我交到了许多好朋友。在神秘财年，我还有幸和来自韩国的高中生同组合作。他们自身极高的素养，和愿意在关键时刻牺牲自己，成全团队的品质让我惊诧。组队前，原本想学习他们领导团队的方式。没想到最后能成为他们组的CEO且得到非常珍贵的友谊。这段记忆我会珍藏。

Finally, I want to say that IFBLS is a good platform to make friends. More than 1200 of our peers comepted with each other this time. Not only did it benefit me by improving my ability, but also it gave me a good opportunity to make friends. In the mysterious fiscal year, I got the opportunity to team up with some high school students from Korea. They showed very good upbringing and were willing to sacrifice themselves for the better good of the team, which touched me a lot. How amazing! Before we decided everyone's role in the team, I wanted to learn from the Korean CEO on how to lead a team. However, I was surprised that I was chosen to be their CEO and harvested precious friendship with them. I will keep this memory forever.

2月2日， 在经历了三次转机加起来将近二十个小时的飞行后，才终于在晚上十一点到达上海。 其实商赛早在二月一日就已经拉开帷幕，而我因为身在阿拉斯加，只能推迟两天才到。到酒店时，已经是二月三号凌晨。 时差加上没有休息好，我对第二天的比赛一点都打不起精神来。一大早，便起床和team其他人汇合。赛场中的繁忙根本不给我留“我很累”这样念头的机会。

On February 2nd, I finally arrived in Shanghai around 11 o 'clock at night, after 3 transfers and nearly twenty-hour flight. In fact, the summit had already started on February 1st. Since I was in Alaska, I was two days late for the event. By the time I arrived at the hotel, it was already February 3rd in the morning. Due to the lack of rest, I was not at by best for the coming contest. Up early in the morning, I met with other team members. Yet, during the tense and busy contest, there was no time for me to think whether i was tired or not.

产品部的**相对较为轻松，在忙完了开头后，就可以继续帮其他部门谈下合作之类的。看着CEO以及市场部的队员马不停蹄地忙碌，就算很累，也很值得。一切都还算顺利，整个团队的分工在Fankel的管理下都十分的明确。但是，失误还是出现过。在CEO和我与另一公司谈零售环节的投资时，没有和投资部门的Micheal对接好，导致最后没有资金去支撑这一单谈拢的合作，只得违约。 可见，一个优秀成功的公司，不只是在于单个成员的优秀，团队的合作更为重要。

I was in charge of the product division and my work was relatively easier. After developing our products in the beginning, I would help other departments to look for new business opportunities and cooperation. Our CEO and teammates in the marketing department were working all the time for the better development of our company. They didn't even rest or relax for one minute. I was touched by this atmosphere. Although I was very tired, I didn't stop working for a minute. And I felt it was worth it. Everything went well. Under Fankel's management, the labor division of our team was very clear. However, mistakes still occurred. When the CEO and I clinched a deal with another company on retail investment, we didn't check timely with Michael from the investment department, resulting in no money to support the deal and default on our side. From this, we learned that teamwork was more important than excellent individual performance for the sucess of a company.

这次商赛，不但让我们学到了商业方面的知识、谈判的技巧，更重要的是**了我们如何在一个团队中和队员相处、合作。

Not only did this contest give us an opportunity to learn about business and negotiation skills, more importantly, it also taught us how we could get along with each other and work out as a team.

邹一磁 Coco Zou

说实话，这次的商赛让我又惊奇又意外。一帮子没有任何经验的学生来到了一个1000多人的竞赛中，是会有多渺小。比赛前的几天晚上，我都难以入睡，脑补着我在台上介绍研发的产品而台下的人一片嘘声。事实上，在比赛时也没好到哪去，台下的人都关心着自己的生意，根本不在乎台上的人是有多么的尴尬。然而，从开始的跟一个陌生人都怯于交流，到后面死皮赖脸地让对手公司买我们的东西，都是在残酷的商业环境中不知不觉的产生了变化。在场上斗地你死我活的竞争对手，比赛完了依旧可以做很好的朋友。

Honestly speaking, this contest surprised me in different ways. When we, a group of students with no experience at all, came to this contest of over 1000 competitors, I thought no one would ever notice us. The night before the contest, I could hardly fall asleep, imagining the audience were booing to the stage when I was presenting our products there. Well, the reality was no better: everyone just cared about their own business and no one ever paid attention to the people on the stage and how awkward they were. The harsh and cruel business environment gradually made us grow and change: at the beginning, we were too shy to communicate with a stranger; later, we were ready to throw ourselves upon a stranger and nag him to buy our products.

这次比赛，不仅仅是认识了来自四方的各种精英，更是稳固了自己公司内部成员的关系。6天下来，学到的不仅仅是如何推销自己的产品或是如何炒股，更是在人际关系中成熟了不少。我对我的公司非常地满意并感到骄傲。每天开会到凌晨，第二天起来更加努力地**，才造就了在最后一天拿奖拿到手软的情景。

Through this contest, we not only met many elites from elsewhere but also enhanced the relationship with our teammates. In these 6 days, I not only learned how to sell our products and how to increase the value of our stock, but also learned how to handle interpersonal relationship. I was proud of my teammates and what we achieved for our company. Late night discussion and hard work every day made it possible for us to receive so many awards in front of everyone esle on the last day.

累是累的，一天上好几堂索然无味的课程是很累;一天研发了好几个产品做了好几个ppt是很累;一天要跟专家拐着弯要分数是很累，但是当比赛结束后，我愿意再来一遍。

Of course, it was very tiring: so many boring classes in one single day; so many PowerPoints and products made in one single day; so many times trying to persuade the experts to give us high points in one single day. Yet when it is over, I am willing to take this all over again.

王奕迪 Dennis Wang

参加了第十二届国际未来商业优秀峰会，我收获颇丰。取得不错的成绩的同时，我还体会到的了团队之间的团结，朋友之间的友谊。竞争对手之间的竞争，当然不乏一些公司的恶意竞争，让我坚定了和他人一较高下的决心。这场比赛我们也经历过低谷，但我们没有放弃，一直坚持到了最后并拿到了令人满意的成绩。

I learned a lot from this IFBLS. Besides the contest awards, I also harvested friendship and solidarity of our team. The competition, including some malicious operations, kindled my ambition and made me want to fight back hard and win. Our company also underwent its lows, but we didn't give up and fought to the very end to get such satisfactory results.

牛禹婷 Shirley Niu

参加这次商赛，感觉累但是又收获满满。不仅仅是对商业的学习与了解、人际关系的处理、甚至还有华尔兹，更多的是与同学的相处以及团队合作。 在这六天中，我们真觉得就是在运营一家公司，每个人都快速进入角色，为公司盈利以及股票上市出谋划策。大家一起学习，一起交流，疲惫也被更多的乐趣以及激动所取代。 由于我们小组热衷创新，所以每天晚上，大家都会聚在一起头脑风暴来讨论如何研发新产品。尽管间或有一些小争执，但始终都是充满欢笑的。

For me, the contest was tiring yet rewarding at the same time. I learned a lot about business, interpersonal relationship and even waltz. More importantly, I learned how to better get along with my schoolmates and how to better cooperate as a team. In those 6 days, we felt like running a real company and each person got into his role quickly to contribute to the company’s profit and IPO. We learned together and communicated with each other, so the fatigue was replaced by more fun and excitement.

Every night, we got together to brainstorm how to develop new products because we believed that innovation was the life of a company. There were disagreements sometimes, yet the discussions were full of fun and laughter.

比赛时，我们合作分工，各司其职，一旦遇到问题，也群策群力，从不慌张，想出比较好的对策。正因为我们的齐心合力以及每个人的竭尽全力，我们获得了杰出公司这一称号，而且组内的每一位成员都收获了属于自己的认可。当掌声、欢呼声以及喝彩声在耳旁想起，我感到无比自豪! 再次感谢我们小组的每一位成员，感谢梦沃给予的支持，感谢本次商赛的主办方以及付老师，让我有这么一段美好的人生经历。

Our team had clear division of labor and all of us tried our best to do well in our respective roles. Once a problem occurred, we would come together to work out the best solution without panic. With our concerted effort, our company was awarded Excellent Company and every team member was also recognized for his own contribution. I was so proud when the applause and cheers came to my ears. Thank every member of our team! Thank Montverde for your support! Thank the organizer of this Summit and Ms. Fu! I’m so grateful to have such a wonderful experience.
