美国梦沃学校(上海)2017年秋季已经开学了，我们春季学期作息时间将有所改变，以下是春季作息时间变更通知：

一、 关于作息时间的改变Changes in School Timetable

本学期早晨起床时间为7:00，学生有了多一点的睡觉时间。由于雾霾原因，本学期学校取消了早操。遵照总校做法吃饭时间所有学生都要到食堂，因此在吃饭前学校会让所有学生离开宿舍。除生活老师外，*括Bowen校长及学生处主任Ricky、学术主任Chris在内都积极协助生活老师督促学生及时离开寝室。为方便家长了解学生吃早饭情况，学校每周会绘制一张学生早餐用餐情况表，有需要的家长可以学校。

This semester, students should get up at 7:00 o’clock, which means they have more time in bed. Morning exercises is cancelled due to smog. In Montverde Florida, all the students should go to the dining hall during meal time. Following this practice, MVA SH rules that all students shall leave the dorm before breakfast starts. This week, Principal Bowen, Dean of Students' Affairs Ricky and Academic Dean Chris join the dorm parents in urging the students to leave their dorms in the morning.In order to serve parents to know how the students eat breakfast. School can manage to keep a weekly record of how many times one student has breakfast in the dining hall. If you want to know such information about your kid, please contact us.

学生处主任Ricky的话:

领导力不仅仅是指坐在领导的位置上的人需要拥有的一种能力，可以是一种影响力。每个人在自己的学习和生活当中都可以对身边的人产生积极正面的影响。把自己的正能量转播给同学，朋友。同时又能够抵挡负能量的侵蚀，这是我所理解的领导能力的另外一层意思。希望同学们能够对学习和生活充满热情，进而拥有有意义的人生。

Reflection from Ricky:

All individuals can be leaders meaning people of impact, influence and inspiration at every level and stage in life. Tittles do not make you a leader; being a role model, leading by example, mentoring and helping others grow and bring the best out of them. Students must have passion that drives theminto a meaningful life.

三、 关于赴美夏校报名**

Sign-up for the Summer School of Montverde Florida

赴美夏校报名从下周开始，截止至2017.3.20。

Sign-up for the Summer School of Montverde Florida starts next week and the deadline is Mar. 20th, 2017.

夏校时间：2017.6.16/17—2017.7.22/23

Summer School Time : 2017.6.16/17—2017.7.22/23

地点：美国梦沃学校(美国弗罗里达州奥兰多)

Place: Montverde Florida (Orlando, Florida, America)

建议年级：原则上10年级同学以及11、12年级未参加过夏校的同学;8、9年级PE2以上的学生均可以参加。

Requirement: 10th graders as well as 11th & 12th graders who haven’t partaken in this summer school should sign up; 8th & 9th graders whose English level is at PE2 or above can also join this program.

友情提示：根据以往经验10年级及10年级之前完成总校夏校学习为效果比较不错。

Tips: Based on experience, we would recommend you to finish the summer school in or before 10th grade.

主要内容：Main Content of the Summer School

1. 前4周，24小时*7，浸入式全真美式学习，全英语环境。

The First 4 Weeks: students will experience a 7X24 all-English learning environment in America.

(1) 学习：美国高中夏校课程学习，选择一门课程，每日5课时，四周高效快速完成该门课程一学期内容，并获学分。

Study: Students shall choose one of the American high school courses offered during the Summer School, attend 5 periods a day and finish the course within four weeks to get its credits.

(2) 生活：平时与美国当地的同学一起吃住在美国学校的寝室。

Life: Students will live and eat in the academy together with its local students.

(3) 周末：学校安排专车接送购物、学校附近大型著名景点(环球世界、迪斯尼乐园等，与美国当地学生一起)

Weekends: The academy will arrange school bus to take the students, together with the local students to buy daily necessities and show them around the major scenic spots near the academy (Universal Studios, Disneyland and so on)

2. 第5周游学

游历纽约—华盛顿—波士顿—五大湖区等一线的主要城市、大学、工业成就以及自然、人文经典。

The 5th Week Study Tour: Students will travel along this line: New York--Washington—Boston--the Great Lakes region. They will learn about the major cities, universities, industries, natural landscape and culture along this line.

3. 费用

费用总计，*含以上所列内容可能涉及的一切费用(食、宿、行、门票等)以及中美往返的机票费用。学生RMB69000元，不含签证费。

The total fee, including the round ticket and everything else mentioned above (accommodation, transportation, entrance tickets and so on), is 69000 RMB. Yet the visa fee is not included.

四、 学生会补选

ASB(Associated Students Board)Reelection

下周一CAS时间(2月27号下午15:,05-16:05)，学生会将进行补选，有以下职位可供竞选：Academic Affair Chair学术活动部长; Phy-Ed Assistant体育部长; Radio Station Director广播站长; Student Union Spokes Person权益保障部长。欢迎有兴趣的同学来苗老师处报名，报名截止时间为下周一(2月27号)中午12:45前。

竞选要求：1、报名时候来苗老师处填写竞选申请表，也可报于班主任(报名时候请注明竞选职位)。2、准备3到5分钟的中英文竞选演说。

ASB reelection will be held on Feb.27th, Monday, from 15:05 to 16:05. The following positions are available. They are Academic Affair Chair, Phy-Ed Assistant, Radio Station Director, Student Union Spokes Person. If you want to run for any positions, fill in an application form. You may get the form from your homeroom teacher or Miss Miao. And you have to hand it in to Miss Miao before Feb. 27th , 12:45. In order to let us know you better, a 5-minute-campaign speech is required.

六、 社团活动Club activities

下周二社团活动时间社团创办人宣讲，下周四社团设摊招新。

Next Tuesday, club founders will have to give a speech introducing their clubs. Next Thursday, each club should set up its stand to recruit new members during club time.

七、 本学期校车正常，学生14:10放学，校车14:30。周日返校接车地点司机会通知学生。

School Bus is the same as usual. Classes are over at 14:10. School bus leaves at 14:30. The driver will tell students where to wait.
