美国梦沃学校(上海)每学期一次的创办社团又开始啦!我们学校的社团一向丰富又有趣。这个学期，除了一些“历史悠久”的老社团之外，也多了许多有意思的新社团。

The creation of new clubs of each semester has started again! There are a variety of interesting clubs at Montverde. This semester, in addition to a few old standbys, there are also some other cool new clubs.

**周，社团活动动员及申请流程宣讲会开讲了。Bowen校长给同学们讲了创建社团的意义，很多同学听后，跃跃欲试，想一展身手。上学期比较不错社团的社长们也给同学们分享了创办社团的感悟和经验，不一样的创办经历和感悟碰撞出了与众不同的成长火花。

The first week, mobiliaztion activities of club creation were organized and the application process began. Principal Bowen spoke with the students about the importance of creating clubs. Many students were eager to try it out for themselves after Bowen's speech. Presidents from the best clubs of last semester also shared their insights and experience in starting clubs, different things they had run into when beginning their clubs, and unusual opportunities these experiences sparked.

第二周的两次社团活动，更是精彩纷呈。周二，本学期社团的创办人，通过精心准备，呈现了各种不同的演讲，吸引了大家的眼球。

The two club activities of the second week were even more wonderful. On Tuesday, the founders of this semester’s clubs gave a variety of carefully prepared presentations for everyone and got everyone’s attention.

周四，各个获得批准的社团在户外设摊招新。阳光明媚，熙熙攘攘，音乐声和为了吸引眼球的吆喝声混合在一起，为同学们青春的美好回忆又增添了一抹亮色。

On Thursday, approved clubs set up stands outside for a club fair. The sun was shining and everyone was bustling around happily. The air was filled with music and the cries of club members trying to recruit new people. It was a bright afternoon to remember.

我们期待本学期的社团活动，能一如既往地让同学们更好地融入集体，享受自己独有的青春。在发挥特长的同时，锻炼和展示领导力。夢沃学子，加油!

We look forward to club activities this semester, and hope that they continue to help students meet new people and enjoy their youth! While showing their own personal strengths, students will also exercise and develop their leadership skills. Let’s go, Montverde!

学生感想 Words From A Student

8年级 徐沁馨 8th Grade Umi Xu

3月2日，从姗姗来迟的阳光里终于稍晓些开春的暖意，午后的光丈余裕熠熠生辉，金碧吸附在向阳的香樟叶面，伴着风互相寒暄，我很难以准确的词汇诉说空气里的清甜，是在这样的大好环境下进行社团招新，实在是惬意不过。

We finally felt a bit of spring warmth in the late afternoon sunlight on March 2nd. The afternoon light shone brightly, and the green leaves of the fragrant camphor tree gleamed as they greeted each other in the wind. I find it difficult to describe the sweetness of the air on the afternoon of club recruitment. It was incredibly nice.

大家的脸上挂着与场景相应的暖意，热闹得恰到好处，还有轻快的流行音乐伴奏，不管是老师还是学生也乐在其中——这里的老师似乎是脱去了身份，变成了和我们同龄的伙伴，这一点是我在之前学习过程中少有见到的。

Everyone’s face reflected this warmth in the lively scene of the club fair. Pop music was playing, and both students and teachers were having a good time—it seemed as if teachers forgot their place for a moment and were just like us. This is something I had had rarely experienced before.

其实我本人也有开创个社团，只是摊位过于冷清，毕竟“文学社”这种老套枯燥的社团实在无法勾人胃口，倒是出奇欣慰有很多老师来关顾过问，尤其是Irene老师，在交谈的过程，我的心情近乎摇曳的树枝，真的非常兴奋，老师很能理解我的爱好，特地细致地阅览了我那拿不上台面的半吊子海报，很赞同我在海报上反对抄袭作品的内容。能找到知音的师长极是让我咋舌，心里是相当高兴的。

I actually started a club as well. My booth just did not have many visitors. After all, literature clubs and the like aren’t really cool or enticing enough to attract students. I was surprised and grateful, though, that there were a lot of teachers interested in my club, especially Miss Irene. Speaking with them shifted my frame of mind—I was so excited that the teachers understood my hobby. They carefully read my cobbled together poster and praised my stand of opposing literary plagiarism on the poster. Finding such friendship with my teachers made me speechless and filled my heart with happiness.

学校的小哥哥小姐姐相貌都出奇好看，穿梭的人群间的笑脸格外迷人，我清晰看到了好几个小姐姐，围着几个社団展示摊，扬起了灿烂的笑颜，艳红双唇间毫无保留地露出了健康的牙齿，午后的阳光跃动在她们轻盈的发丝上，金光沾染了她们的笑眼桃花，她们是那样自信而闪闪发亮，我从心底里羡慕她们，不禁感叹：这就是青春吧，闪闪发亮的。

Our school’s students are especially good-looking. It was wonderful seeing their smiling faces in the milling crowd. I saw a group of girls crowding around a few stands with bright smiles on their faces, mouths open in laughter, and the golden light reflecting in their smiling eyes. They seemed aglow with happiness and confidence, and I envied them from the bottom of my heart. I couldn’t help sighing at the brilliance of youth.
