在美国梦沃学校(上海)每周一P&B(心理和行为课)，学生处主任Mr Jimenez都会选择一个主题，和同学们分享一段“名人名言”。他教导同学们像那些杰出人物学习，日积月累持续努力，从各方面提升自己的能力，不断收获成长的喜悦。

In MVA Shanghai, Mr. Jimenez, Dean of Students' Affairs, chooses one theme and shares with the students some famous quotes in the P&B (Psychology&Behavior) session every Monday morning. He guides the students to learn from those extraordinary people, to keep working hard every day and to improve themselves comprehensively to enjoy the happiness of growth.

本周他选择的主题是“领导力”，所分享的是加拿大作家和领导力演讲家Robins S. Sharma的名言。

This week, he chose the theme "leadership" and shared with the students some famous quotes of Robins S. Sharma, a Canadian writer and well-known speaker on leadership.

Leadership is not about a title or a designation. It's about impact, influence and inspiration. Impact involves getting results, influence is about spreading the passion you have for your work, and you have to inspire team-mates and customers. 所谓领导力不是一个头衔或者称号。这是一种感染力，影响力，激发人们热情的能力，是把自己的**热情传播出去，并激励团队成员和客户。

All individuals can be leaders, meaning people of impact, influence and inspiration at every level and stage in life. Tittles do not make you a leader; being a role model, leading by example, mentoring and helping others grow and bring the best out of them. Students must have passion that drives them into a meaningful life.

所有人都可以成为领导者，也就是成为有影响力有感染力的人，无论你是处于哪个阶层或人生的哪个阶段。坐拥头衔并不意味着你是一名领导者。成为标杆，身体力行，帮助他人成为比较好的自己才能担得起领导者这一称谓。 学生必须要有不断追求更有意义的生命的激情和动力。

Profile of Ricky Jimenez

Ricky Jimenez本科毕业于美国国立大学，学习语言学和文学;硕士攻读笔译和口译专业;之后继续在翻译领域深造并获得博士学位。获得由威斯康辛大学麦迪逊分校颁布的“对外英语教学”证书。Ricky自2001年起从事国际教育，从2015年8月开始，在上海美国梦沃学校教授ESL、SAT基础及西班牙语选修课。

Ricky Jimenez got his Bachelor's Degree of linguistics & literature in an American state university. Later he continued to get his Master's Degree and Doctorate in translation and interpreting. He also got the TESOL certificate awarded by University of Wiscosi-Madison. He has been working in international education since 2001 and teaching ESL courses, SAT and Spanish elective in MVA Shangahi since Aug. , 2015.
