在美国梦沃学校(上海)每周一P&B(心理和行为课)，学生处主任Mr Jimenez都会选择一个主题，和同学们分享一段“名人名言”。他教导同学们像那些杰出人物学习，日积月累持续努力，从各方面提升自己的能力，不断收获成长的喜悦。

In MVA Shanghai, Mr. Jimenez, Dean of Students' Affairs, chooses one theme and shares with the students some famous quotes in the P&B (Psychology&Behavior) session every Monday morning. He guides the students to learn from those extraordinary people, to keep working hard every day and to improve themselves comprehensively to enjoy the happiness of growth.

本周他所分享的是古希腊伟大的演说家、律师、政治家德摩斯梯尼的名言：

“想要避免被谴责，最可靠的办法就是改正自己的错误。”

This week he chose a famous quote by Demosthenes, a great orator, lawyer and politician in ancient Greece: "The readiest and surest way to get rid of censure, is to correct ourselves."

Mr Jimenez说：“人作为单独的个体总是藐视规则，从而作出一些错误的选择去违反规定。在座的各位不免也有做过这样的事情。你讨厌各种规定，不想要各种规定限制你，不愿意放弃自己为了躲避规定而用惯了的小把戏。”

Mr. Jimenez said: "Individuals despise rules so much that they decide to bend them, resulting in making the wrong choices. Students, you have been there and done that; you want the rules gone but you refuse to walk away from your old bad tricks."

Ricky Jimenez获得美国知名大学语言文学博士学位，是上海美国梦沃学校学生处主任，同时也教授ESL、SAT基础以及西班牙语选修等科目。

Ricky Jimenez got his Doctorate in language and literatue. He is the Dean of Students' Affairs and teaches ESL courses, SAT and Spanish elective in MVA Shanghai.
